The unusual rumble you hear is the sound of a Stewart Downing bandwagon – last seen or heard circa 2010/11, when the winger racked up 167 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) points in his final season at Aston Villa. Having provided just two assists over the entire previous campaign, Downing was written off as a Fantasy force this time round. After an uninspiring start, he has now produced attacking returns in each of his last three for Liverpool and has already received over 10,000 transfers in prior to this weekend’s trip to Southampton. In this latest article for members, we assess the statistics to see just why:

          +a million. I think it's short-sighted that people are dropping him now considering his

          a) price

          My thinking is that Sturridge could cover me the Liverpool attack and save me a lot of money compared to Suarez. So far this has backfired dramatically and eaten up my ~ 60 point lead in my mini-league.

      smalling could but i think rafael is fine, if he doesn't play v reading he'll not kick a ball for 3 weeks. sunderland is the worry game for rafael imo. mcanuff turning him inside out in the reverse fixture may be a factor but i doubt it, perfect chance for rafael to bounce back

    Bale, Mata, Walcott, Michu, Sissoko
    RVP, Suarez

    Subs: Jussi, Remy, Turner, Pearce.

    A. Michu & Cisse -> Maloney & RVP (c) (4pointer)

    B. Sissoko & Cisse -> Maloney & RVP (c) (4 pointer)

    C. GJ & Cisse -> Dawson & RVP (c) (4 pointer)

    D. Cisse -> Rooney

    E, Save transfer, go with no United

    Would really appreciate some advice on this, really don't know what direction to go with it! P.S i'm leading practically all my mini leagues and most behind me have RVP..

      A or C, Viper. You've gotta get RVP, not just to cover the difference but because he will do well down the stretch as United focus on the league, and maybe dropping Michu is the way to go. Tough one though. The more i look at it though it seems C is a good move too. Stick with RVP over Rooney though (on Pens and more central as Roon will do the dirty work). Good luck.

    so any indication from Fergie on who might be rested? Smalling maybe replacing Rafa?

    Also, as someone who's looking at getting Sir Chesney in for DGW should i be worried by Wenger's comments on rotation and Fabianski?

          sunderland looks like prime resting season to me, especially if everton pull something out the bag this weekend. jones should be back by then, smalling is fit, and man utd have 3 centre backs. for example i can see rafael nailed on to play against hazard so smalling v sunderland 2 days earlier makes some sense

        😆

        Basically mate my options are

        a) Play Siss and Remy and bench Snodgrass

        b) Bring in Lamps for -4 and bench one of Siss or Remy

        a) is easier but I'd be scared of no Chelsea for the next 3 and Lamps is nailed on to start this week I'd say.

      I'm benching him.

      Purely for the reason that I'm leading in two of my leagues and everyone else behind me will play him so it's a case of covering myself.

    Baines azp davies (harte, mariappa)
    Bale mata walcott sissoko michu
    Suarez studge (lambert)
    2 FT, 2.7

    Def want rvp back.. Should i pull the trigger on:

      Same here, Cisse instead of Benteke though. Bale (c). Scary, but getting RVP would mess my team up, spend my FT + a hit and their GW30 versus Sunderland looks PERFECT for resting players.

          Fed... so annoyed. Paid extra for him over Bunn because I thought Ruddy would be back soon and Reading had excellent fixtures for the blanks (I have DDG). Now this happens and Bunn is hogging as many points as possible.

    Mignolet
    Zabaleta Rafael Azpillicueta
    Sissoko Bale(vc) Mata Walters
    Rooney(c) Lambert Sturridge
