Looked through the goalscorer odds on William Hill, Paddy Power and Bet365 and I have to say I'm surprised at how far ahead of Suarez some other players are. Persie and Rooney are both miles ahead. Really think I might have a punt on the double up on United attackers with the easy swap to Suarez next week if it fails etc.

Ba and Bale are also ahead of Suarez by the way, it might be a reflection of the fact that Southampton might be better than we give them credit for or the fact that Suarez only really had one proper shot last game, getting away with a huge score for various reasons, most notably that he's great and that Defoe is a muppet.

Sorry for re-post was at bottom of p.1! A combination of less focus on my team recently and some awful decision making means I still have no Suarez or Bale, hence my plummeting rank and loss of cash mini-league lead.

Need Bale in this week, should I do:

A) Mata – Bale for a free
B) Michu & Lambert – Bale & Remy for a hit
C) Save and hope (again) that Bale blanks

Input would be appreciated as it seems every decision I have made lately has backfired. I am leaning towards A as Mata is less secure than Michu, but both are surely ‘due’.

I always do too many transfers. This week's krazy plan:
