Sunday serves up a quartet of matches, handing us over four hours of Premier League football to keep us sofa-bound and, hopefully, boosting our Gameweek tallies in the process.

We’re eased into the action at the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland host Norwich in a match with few Fantasy assets on show. Stephane Sessegnon and Steven Fletcher will feature for some, whist interest in the visitors seems likely to be limited to the Canaries back four and, perhaps, the set-piece threat of Robert Snodgrass.

Things accelerate from that point on, however, with Gareth Bale sizing up the Fylham defence at three o’clock, while Juan Mata and Moussa Sissoko are in action as Chelsea take on West Ham and Newcastle visit Wigan in the late afternoon kick-offs.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is open throughout the day for those seeking some real-time interaction while the matches play out.

The team news from today’s early game finds Martin O’Neill make one very welcome change from a Fantasy perspective, as Carlos Cuellar returns to the Black Cats’ lineup after an eight-game hiatus. Danny Rose and David Vaughan also earn starts, with Alfred N’Diaye and Jack Colback joining the dropped Titus Bramble on the bench. Chris Hughton also makes changes to the visitors lineup, with Anthony Pilkington ruled out through injury, Elliot Bennett is drafted in on the flank, meanwhile, Grant Holt drops to the bench to make way for West Hoolahan. It looks as though Kei Kamara will lead the attack in a 4-5-1 for Norwich.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

It's rare that handball is ever truely deliberate, but sometimes players have thier hands in silly places and can go along with that then being a pen. In this case Bassong was just running to the ball completely naturally, misjusted it, hit his arm. Never a pen.

The further goals conceded by Norwich now will surely result in negative points for Bunn for every 2 goals conceded, yeah? I think it's fair, he was on the teamsheet, didn't really get replaced by anyone, so technically, he's involved in the 11 players, while he's been sent off. Just my theory to it.

It hit his chest than bounced up to his arm. Ofcourse it was not deliberate, most of the deliberate handballs are by attackers. But he made sure that ball did not roll over him, and his technique let him down so he used his arm. Same thing for Bassong.

I remember 1 100% deliberate handball in defense in recent times and that was by suarez for Uruguay. This is 50% deliberate, trying to not use hands, but not having good enough technique to do so. So it still qualifies as deliberate as he could just have put his arms behind his back or besides him in a normal position and avoid the situation all together.

I am not speaking if this is 100% correct call by the rules. But that is how it is being called nowerdays. As the situation was with Nani red card in UCL, that was not even a foul in the rules, but how it is translated now that is a red.

Exactly this. It's handball because it hit him and the position of the arms. If his hands were by his side and not up in the air like he was about to catch it, then it wouldn't have been a sending off.

Even though I own Bale, I'm hoping he has a rare quiet game. Too many Bale Captainers for my liking :p
