We’re down to the last 16 in the Scout Members Cup after last weekend’s results. Rodallega Bombs, who knocked out Evs in the previous round, progresses once again, while Stevey Trader was the top scoring manager for the round with 53 points – all the more impressive, given he took an eight point hit.

Elsewhere, former winner Fuzzy Dunlop is still in with a shout, as is site regular Eunuch Jelly, after a 45 point haul in Gameweek 30. The draw for the next round is being sorted out behind the scenes – we should be rolling that out tomorrow or Thursday:

Is there any info anywhere regarding the nailed-onness of Fabianski/Robles/Mucha? I have 5.1 for a keeper (other being Cesar) and the options seem to be one of the above or play safe and get Schwarzer, who rotates well with Cesar. Not a fan of the safe option though.

I'm planning to swap Giroud for Suarez (This will be especially easy if Suarez picks up a yellow) or lose Mata for Fellaini, which will give me the cash for the double gameweek players. I don't really like playing Boruc every week, and I do have a wildcard if it looks like I won't be able to do what I need for the double.

Don't think so, Zaba clear 1st choice, been their most consistent player all season.

If Mancini wants to play Richards, he'll either switch Zaba to LB or play his 5 at the back formation.

So even though I really want to get rid of Mignolet and use some of that money to upgrade elsewhere, am I right in assuming there actually aren't many more stable keepers for less? Already tried Guzan this winter -- we all know how that must have gone.

Very true, especially with a DGW in GW 36. I bought him after the 1st game of the season vs QPR so I'll be losing out too, I reckon his price will drop massively over the next 3 GW's and pick up again right before the DGW. Some may not buy him again because it'll be a bitter taste in their mouths by losing 1m n because he's been so frustrating for many lately

I think the 3 attackers will probably score more points but might not be good value/use of forward slots.

For instance, Giroud over Sagna/Jenkinson is a lot of money more and stops you having say Lambert/Benteke/Lukaku/Berba/Kone

Think I'd prefer to keep sturridge of the 2

not sure i like the idea of sitting players with decent fixtures just for the sake of dgwers....that could explode inmy face

Hmm - my positive spin has taken a bit of a bashing if that's the case. Maybe Suarez gets a yellow and you sell him for Rooney, then. If you can afford it.

Snoddi to a cheapo and Johnson to Walcott or Caz would be an option. I dont think Arteta is worth it, you are pretty much relying on pens.

Townsend is doing well enough to be considered an option. Downgrading Sczcesney could also make up that cash for you.

      Tough one there.

I'm doing Michu to Caz but I don't have Mata myself, think if I had both I'd still get rid of Michu just. I've owned him all season but his returns have slowed down and their fixtures aren't great.

Mata is still the least likely midfielder to be rotated under Benitez and has some good fixtures even if he is benched, he could still perform in 20-30 mins.

Lampard is far less likely to be rotated and is usually good for one goal since the renaissance. It would have only been one game in ten straight starts that he has scored one goal if he hadn't missed that penalty.

With this team, how do I prep. better for the DGWs?

    DDG-Bunn
    Harte-Wilson-Clichy-Enrique-Santon
    Cazorla-Walcott-Sissoko-Bale-Lampard
    Sturridge-Suarez-Benteke

Is Lampard + Harte to Fellaini + Sagna/Obrien or Lampard + Enrique to Pienaar + Baines better with my next two FT? Did Sess to Cazorla already this GW.

    DDG
    Dawson Davies Wilson
    Bale Mata Walcott Cazorla
    Sturridge RVP Suarez

    Subs; Bunn, Puncheon, Harte, Clyne

I need to sort my defence out for these doubles but dont know how....

Yup. Many of us have always tried to be as inclusive as possible on here, offering a chance to everyone. And yeah it gets pretty damn hard when you struggle to answer RMT's that you just couldnt care less about. But this competition is on a whole new level. If your going to run a competition that will inevitably be exclusive then make it private and off this site.

The H2H leagues run by the council were very good as all they were exclusive they gave everyone a chance to qualify, and do not lead to much directly exclusive chatter. My and Doos' leagues this year may be exclusive but we did all our planning over the summer and have kept everything off this site for this very reason.
