Wake up and smell the coffee. The ScoutCast returns to jolt us back into life and get us prepped for another Gameweek. After another dullard international break, we come back to life over 100 minutes, delivering the usual mix of chatter, banter, debate and community spirit.

Resigned to mini-league defeat, Granville enjoys pointing out how I’m oh so wrong on the price rise tax, James McClean pre-season and Maynor Figueroa’s Gameweek potential. Jonty crashes in having leaped above me in the contributors league for a quick Rooney-themed gloat, followed by another “Full Jonty”, which this week puts focus on a “no hits please, I’m cautious” Fantasy manager from the Scout community. All the regulars squeeze in amongst that lot to deliver a lengthy wake-up call.

Splash your face with the cold water of a Gameweek countdown via this link or down the pro-plus hit via the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Santon > Riether (QPR) for a 4 point hit or play wilson (eve) ?

Wilson against an Everton team without Fellaini or Pienaar is good.

Stick for now and play Wilson - giood CS odds what with Everton missing Fellaini and Pienaar. Then bring Reither in over next two GWs ahead of DGW

Doubt has set in about whether Wally/Snodgrass > Caz/Maloney is worth a 4pt hit...I'm £0.1m short of just doing the Wally/Caz move. Would you do it with a WC planned for GW33 and the team below? Both would play with Siss dropping to bench. 25pts behind in my ML, so looking to claw that back. Cheers

    Enrique Azpi Demel
    Bale(vc) Michu Snodgrass Sissoko

Thanks pal, much appreciated. It's the WC that's slightly clouding my thinking; I'll be getting Berba in for the DGW. Yeah, I think this needs to be done - I can't afford to miss a Santi avalanche! Cheers again

Hey guys. Not been on since the last games, have I missed much?

Just looking at my transfers. I have three I want to do: Bunn to De Gea, Enrique to Mertesacker and Michu to Sissoko. I have the exact funds required. Now, Michu and Enrique need to be done before I have the funds to get De Gea. I'm thinking I'll do those two today for a four point hit and get De Gea after tomorrow's deadline. Been looking at FISO and De Gea is close to his target NTI for a rise. However he's rising slowly and today's NTI is actually negative at the moment. He's not going to rise tonight is he?

Looking at the fixtures I have 0 interest in WHM and Fulham players. Maybe only Berba as neither of those teams have even a chance for a CS and unlikely to score too many. Everton on the other hand could have a nice time vs QPR and Arsenal are not so good defensively either.

and 3 CHE or UTD will be a must for me along with 3 Arsenal. Ofcourse if Che have the double I might look away from Pienaar cause the midfield spots may be scarce.

ive questioned this too, but everytime i reason that for previous dgws its bitten me on the ass..... i played walcott over puncheon for southamptons dgw for example......its the higher potential ceiling they have

id have to sacrifice lambo or benteke for berbs and i think either could do well.....so its hard

I've decided that this is the best week to take a -8 hit to get in DGW players, as the Arsenal/Fulham matches look like good clean sheet potential. Johnson (I'd say Villa will score)/Walcott/Davies out for Carzola/Mertesacker/Riether

    Begovic
    Riether / O'Brien / Mertesacker
Santi Carzola / Lampard / Kagawa / Bale
Lambert / Suarez (c) Van Persie

    Pollitt/Schneiderlin/Martn/Harte

Really want to get an Arsenal defender in, but no idea whos best bet. Mert looks most secure, Jenk/Sagna much better value but who will actually play (especially for dgw), Monreal looks best to get more points, but rotation with Gibbs a threat for dgw. Grrr

Sir Alex Ferguson will carefully manage tiredness in his squad when selecting teams for the forthcoming matches against Sunderland and Chelsea over the Easter weekend, but Nani, Paul Scholes and Phil Jones have trained this week and could bolster United's ranks.

The aftermath of an international break is a delicate time for managers, but Sir Alex was mostly “very satisfied” with the freshness of his players.

“I don't think there are any injuries from the internationals which is really good news,” the boss told reporters on Friday. “There's a fair bit of tiredness and the answer to that is to make sure we get the energies back in their bodies. So there's the recovery side to it with not much training.

“There was a fair bit of travel - Chicharito and Valencia only got in yesterday [Thursday] afternoon and the English players got back at 5am. Other than that, we're very satisfied.”

Having Nani, Jones and Scholes available would be another boon for the boss. “Nani, Jones and Scholes are all doing a little bit of training,” he added. “Hopefully it will give us a good strong squad to approach the two games on Saturday and Monday. We'll try and keep the momentum going with he run we're in at the moment. If we do that, Monday will take care of itself.”

I reckon the United lineup will be more or less this. Means Rooney, RVP, Valencia, Young, Carrick, Cleverly, Evans and Evra are all good to go for Chelsea replay. Still looks a good team to put out against Sunderland. Maybe Carrick could start instead of Anderson since he's played the least time over the break, but who knows... thoughts?

    ----------------------- DDG -----------------------
    Rafael ------ Vidic ------ Rio ------ Buttner
    Nani --- Jones --- Anderson --- Welbeck

United have such a versatile squad it'd impossible to predict even if we knew who was ruled out. Suppose Welbeck could shift into the hole and have Young out wide, resting Kagawa, but as you said who knows.

Looking forward to seeing it out of all the lineups even though I only have DDG, will be interesting to see Ferguson's thinking

      One of RVP/Rooney will start.

Jones and Nani are only just back in training so may not be raring to go anyway. Why play Vidic and Rio in this game and not the Chelsea one? Evans or Smalling will start.
