Wake up and smell the coffee. The ScoutCast returns to jolt us back into life and get us prepped for another Gameweek. After another dullard international break, we come back to life over 100 minutes, delivering the usual mix of chatter, banter, debate and community spirit.

Resigned to mini-league defeat, Granville enjoys pointing out how I’m oh so wrong on the price rise tax, James McClean pre-season and Maynor Figueroa’s Gameweek potential. Jonty crashes in having leaped above me in the contributors league for a quick Rooney-themed gloat, followed by another “Full Jonty”, which this week puts focus on a “no hits please, I’m cautious” Fantasy manager from the Scout community. All the regulars squeeze in amongst that lot to deliver a lengthy wake-up call.

        Are you using your WC for the double? If not that is 2 transfers wasted, and pretty much a -8 considering you probably want to bring in EVE/CHE/UTD players as well.

        That's very oversimplified. Walcott out to Cazorla could gain me a lot more than 4 points. I may choose to have Mata/Hazard over Walcott yet too.

        Depends on your strategy of course. If you want something like 4-5 DGW players than you wont need the hits. I want 8 minimum so every transfer is a extra hit. In my case your plan would need Caz having 10 pts this week to break even that is assuming Sissokho gets only 2.

        My only other option was taking Mata out for Cazorla, or take a hit, so whatever I did I would be losing points or a potential DGW player.
        
        I just feel like there's not enough time to risk having an expensive midfielder on your bench for a week or even 2 weeks.

        I think the Cazorla madness has gone to peoples head, I cant see them running over Reading I mean Utd only got 1 goal. Looking at your team you have a perfect chance to just play Maloney, you also have Bertrand who also is likely to start this week.
        Check my team out, Im starting McAnuff and Sissokho this week instead of replacing Walcott also probably forced into playing S Taylor and double Stoke defense. I know I could see a red this week, but the potential points of later transfers is bigger than the potential points gained this week for thinking short term.
        
        At least this is how I see it, and I could be totally wrong.

        It's 2 different trains of thought, and there's nothing wrong with that. I'm just trying to get an advantage every week and don't think there is time to wait a week to see what happens.
        
        I wanted Arsenal cover, as everyone in my ML has some, and I had to lose either Walcott, Bale, Mata or do a -4.

I have 2 transfers this week, not sure whether to get Maloney in now, or save one of my transfers getting ready for the DGWs or to not bother and just sort it out with my wildcard when the time comes. I don't know. What's everyone else doing?

Without using my WC in DGW33, I could have the following DGW'ers:
(if Chelsea win) DDG, Riether, Demel, Walcott, Santi Cazorla, Fellaini & RVP.
(if United win) Riether, Demel, Mata, Santi Cazorla, Fellaini & Hazard/Walcott.

So the million dollar question:
A) Do I WC in DGW33 or
B) Go into DGW33 with these 6 or 7 players, and then WC during the possible City+West Brom, United+Stoke/Chelsea+Spurs, Wigan+Swansea DGW's later

*What I'm taking into consideration is that:
- We don't know for certain if we'll get another DGW as 'fixture packed' as this, so it could be the best time to WC. How likely is it that all the
- I can get 6 or 7 DGWers without WCing in DGW33. But if I WC in DGW33 and get 10/11 DGWers, I doubt I'd be able to get 6 or 7 DGWers for the DGWs later on. Therefore, holding onto the WC seems the best option.

I'm leaning towards B atm.
Everyone still with their WC has the same dilemma, obviously some are better positioned for DGW33 than others.

What's your thinking?
