Wake up and smell the coffee. The ScoutCast returns to jolt us back into life and get us prepped for another Gameweek. After another dullard international break, we come back to life over 100 minutes, delivering the usual mix of chatter, banter, debate and community spirit.

Resigned to mini-league defeat, Granville enjoys pointing out how I’m oh so wrong on the price rise tax, James McClean pre-season and Maynor Figueroa’s Gameweek potential. Jonty crashes in having leaped above me in the contributors league for a quick Rooney-themed gloat, followed by another “Full Jonty”, which this week puts focus on a “no hits please, I’m cautious” Fantasy manager from the Scout community. All the regulars squeeze in amongst that lot to deliver a lengthy wake-up call.

Splash your face with the cold water of a Gameweek countdown via this link or down the pro-plus hit via the handy player below.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I was going to save a FT this week and was considering doing 2 transfers next week. If Fabianski plays and has a good game I was going to do Mignolet->Fab so I have the funds to upgrade Michu to Cazorla. The problem being my other goalie is injured so if Fab doesn’t play I’d have no goalie. Also, now that Wally is injured Clyne will come off the bench. Fed, Harte and Kebe are all injured and/or under threat of rotation. I have 0.4M in the bank. Any ideas?

    My team:
    Mignolet
    Evans, Clyne, Davies, Turner
    Bale,Michu, Sissoko
    RVP, Suarez, Lambert
    Subs: Fed, Kebe, Harte, Wally

I'm always disappointed at not meeting my goals, but realising they are unrealistic helps me get over it. Mostly I would think about what will make it realistic next time.

Pretty sure my team is ready to go now:

    Jussi (WBA)

Fig (NOR) – Baines C (STK) – Zab (NEW)

Townsend (ful) – Bale VC (swa) – Santi Cazorla (RDG) – Lamps (sou)

RVP (sun) – Benteke (LIV) – Studge (avl)

Bench Bunn (susp) – Sissoko (mci) – Harte (ars) – Wilson (eve)

Captaining Baines as a punt because I just can’t see Stoke scoring and with no Pienaar he will own that left flank.

    1. Any1 want to differ with me?

Also i’m a little nervy about benching Siss because last time he had a tough match and I benched him it was chelsea and if Everton can beat City then surely Newcastle can too?

But most likely RVP or Lamps wont play so he will end up playin anyway!
