It seems a lot of people are just expecting Wigan to suddenly start playing like Barc ... sorry Real Ma .... I mean Borussia Dortmund anytime soon. However, I'm not too convinced.
In 2013, they have only beaten Reading away, then Newcastle and Norwich at home. The Newcastle win was pretty controversial as well, it should have been a draw. Hardly the stuff of last season, when they won at Anfield and The Emirates and beat Man United at home.
In their last 6 home games, they have just scored 7 goals in their last 6, while conceding twice as many. Away from home hasn't been much better, also scoring 7 in 6, while conceding 10.
Also, Spurs will be a tough game for them, as will West Brom away. Swansea at home might be a must win game, but then they face a trip to Arsenal before a crunch game against Villa on the final day.
For these reasons, I'm staying away from any Wigan defenders and I think that Kone and Maloney is too much Wigan attacking cover.
As sad as I am to see it happen, I think this might be the season that we see an end to Wigan's tenure in the Premier League.
and that is exactly the problem. You can neither count on them or rule them out.
i think this last weeks game against west ham has got the doubters in full swing - last season they would've been much more up for the fight in a match like that. they didn't seem to have that same effort like the end of last season. i cant see them staying up.

Almost every player picks one of these teams, in team play it's even worse, Barcelona v R Madrid half the time.
