With Fantasy owners of Luis Suarez and Olivier Giroud scouring the market in light of their recent suspensions, focus is falling on those forwards with a double Gameweek 36 amongst their respective schedules. Romelu Lukaku and Arouna Kone have both arrived on Fantasy radars over the last few days and, as the Fantasy transfer market picks up pace, we analyse their performances over the last six Gameweeks.

    It seems a lot of people are just expecting Wigan to suddenly start playing like Barc ... sorry Real Ma .... I mean Borussia Dortmund anytime soon. However, I'm not too convinced.

    In 2013, they have only beaten Reading away, then Newcastle and Norwich at home. The Newcastle win was pretty controversial as well, it should have been a draw. Hardly the stuff of last season, when they won at Anfield and The Emirates and beat Man United at home.

    In their last 6 home games, they have just scored 7 goals in their last 6, while conceding twice as many. Away from home hasn't been much better, also scoring 7 in 6, while conceding 10.

    Also, Spurs will be a tough game for them, as will West Brom away. Swansea at home might be a must win game, but then they face a trip to Arsenal before a crunch game against Villa on the final day.

    For these reasons, I'm staying away from any Wigan defenders and I think that Kone and Maloney is too much Wigan attacking cover.

    As sad as I am to see it happen, I think this might be the season that we see an end to Wigan's tenure in the Premier League.

      i think this last weeks game against west ham has got the doubters in full swing - last season they would've been much more up for the fight in a match like that. they didn't seem to have that same effort like the end of last season. i cant see them staying up.

        Lets not forget that while they played well in the defeat to City, a loss is still a loss. And they struggled to get a point against 10 man QPR previous to that. They really haven't displayed the kind of form we were all hoping for.

      Not sure if they could cope with losing Goetze and Lewandowski in the same transfer window. They replaced Kagawa more than capably with Reus, hope they can do the same for Goetze. They shouldn't have a problem attracting players, that's for sure.

    Not football related, but I've just listened to Van Morrison's album Astral Weeks 4 times on the way home from Punchestown and it's the best bit of music I've ever had the pleasure of hearing. Couldn't recommend it highly enough

    Isn't it annoying on fifa when the same people keep picking Barcelona and Real Madrid as there team online?

    Almost every player picks one of these teams, in team play it's even worse, Barcelona v R Madrid half the time.

    If anything let's just hope the last couple of days have shown these idiots there is more than 2 teams out there.
