In Development – HomeCrowd Comments – Phase Four Testing

We’re carrying out another test of “HomeCrowd”, the new Fantasy Football Scout comments system, tomorrow. Those who with to take part in this test can get on board by emailing us at homecrowd@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

This is likely to be our last “closed” test of HomeCrowd prior to going live, although another short open “stress test” may follow early next week if required.

Invites should go out tomorrow morning and will include details of how to get involved.

Those who have already taken part in our earlier tests will get the invite as before.

This test is focused on the latest optimisation tweaks, some new features and, in the main, the new design.

Recent changes include:

Brand new design including new skin and emoticons.
Full Private Profiles now added with the ability to change password, display name etc.
Display names are now limited to those not currently used in another users display name or username. Basically, no two users can show the same display name.
Individual comments can now be locked by moderators and admins to prevent further replies.

All being well, we will be rolling HomeCrowd live early next week. We’re currently working on the importer to ensure that the changeover will be as seamless as possible – not easy with almost five million comments to import over. We’ll let you know on progress.

I am an owner of Zabaleta, Hazard and Benteke. Had my subs in the wrong order so get Davies on instead of Super Demel now 🙁

I used to be a Mancini fan and I would defend him if people were calling for his head...but I actually think it wouldn't be a bad thing if he leaves. They have become such a boring and negative side under him. They hardly look like scoring a goal most matches...it really is baffling when they have spent so much money on that squad. There just never seems to be a plan B either. That match was crying out for Dzeko for his height but Mancini was just too stubborn to make a sub that would really affect the match. Instead he messes about by taking off Tevez for Rodwell...RODWELL!

I mean his style just seems to suck the life out of games sometimes...and surely the blame for Aguero's lack of form must lie on the shoulder's of the manager when he refuses to allow his players to play attacking football and deprives his team of any width. It was actually easy for Wigan to defend against today.

I thought Man City were so much better last year and at times they were so exciting. But their team just lacks any heart at the moment. Dzeko doesn't want to be there, Tevez probably cares less, Aguero cares more about his boots than scoring goals...Balotelli, the one with the most character at least was sold. Silva is not the player he was last season, Nasri is a mercenary who only plays well when it suits him.

There was a moment that summed it all up earlier, City had lots of men forward and Nastasic has a shot from 30 yards, miles wide. NASTASIC! And the team seemed to just accept this, as if it was ok for their Centre back to have a shot from there when they were pushed forward. Not to blame Nastasic but the mentality of the team just shows that they have no belief that they can even score goals at the moment. It just seems like so much talent wasted or maybe it's just that these guys are paid so much but have no team spirit.

I don't know whether it's the players or Mancini but there's something wrong there.

  Couldn't manage Tevez. Couldn't manage Balotelli. Signed absolute trash last summer and cried because Chelsea and United got Hazard and Van Persie respectively. He ended up with Garcia and Sinclair. He cant motivate his players they all look as if thry couldnt give a toss.

Evening lads. Just got back from an excellent day out in Sheffield, where i was also lucky enough to see the Final.

Well done to Wigan, fully deserved. But as poor as City were, once again we saw the importance of Alcaraz to Wigan, and Robles made some incredible saves. I'm very glad I chose to go with RvP (c) now, I can really see Wigan turning Arsenal over. They're on a massive high both with that win and Villa's defeat giving them renewed hope of survival.

    I have no idea of the district, but it's virtually straight off the end of the Snake Pass. It's like a 2 min drive at best from there.
    
    One of closest friends from school lives there now and his daughter has just turned 1, so he had a party for her, so a few of us drove over. He's a City fan.

        yeah it's pretty nice. We were gonna leave about half 4ish and hope to make the 2nd half, but my mate who was driving lost track of time and before he knew it the match had started, so we decided to wait until it had finished.

Sturridge is 7.1 now, does that mean the most he can rise to this week is 7.4?

Got just enough in the bank to swap Lukaku to a 7.4 striker. So as long as Romelu doesn't drop I can afford to wait. No point worrying about 0.1 in the last week unless you have to.
