We’re carrying out another test of “HomeCrowd”, the new Fantasy Football Scout comments system, tomorrow. Those who with to take part in this test can get on board by emailing us at homecrowd@fantasyfootballscout.co.uk.

This is likely to be our last “closed” test of HomeCrowd prior to going live, although another short open “stress test” may follow early next week if required.

Invites should go out tomorrow morning and will include details of how to get involved.

Those who have already taken part in our earlier tests will get the invite as before.

This test is focused on the latest optimisation tweaks, some new features and, in the main, the new design.

Recent changes include:

  • Brand new design including new skin and emoticons.
  • Full Private Profiles now added with the ability to change password, display name etc.
  • Display names are now limited to those not currently used in another users display name or username. Basically, no two users can show the same display name.
  • Individual comments can now be locked by moderators and admins to prevent further replies.

All being well, we will be rolling HomeCrowd live early next week. We’re currently working on the importer to ensure that the changeover will be as seamless as possible – not easy with almost five million comments to import over. We’ll let you know on progress.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

IF Michu's in the squad tomorrow he's a safe starter right? (or could it be a 10 min cameo?)
i accidentely left him in my starting XI over Maloney because i didn't even consider he would play a few days ago.

Can't see why he'd be benched.

Maloney over Michu anyway for me. In great form and that FA cup win is only going to boost his confidence that bit more.

Doesnt seem sensible to me to rush him back. Why play him and risk another tweak when Swansea have nothing to play for?

So, after the internet cut out Friday night I now have 2 freebies for GW38, and am beginning to think that may have been a stroke of luck, given that I was going to do Hazard ➡ Coutinho.

And now have this lot remaining....

Just knew Lamps had the record vs Villa, told everyone else and their mom to make the change, but held Mata and went W.o Lamps. As a Chelsea supporter, I'm happy, but my teams points aren't making me enjoy it much :-/

I blame it on my mini league rival also having Mata in fact that was the only reason I got him in a few weeks ago. I'm sure I'd be a lot higher overall if I wasn't in a mini league

This theory may have already been espoused on these illustrious forums, but does anyone else think Fergie will now put out his absolute best team in these last 2 games in an act of pure self indulgence, simply to try and blow the opposition away with an avalanche of goals?

Moreover, the utd players may also be fired up to provide him with a fitting swansong?

If Norwich or Newcastle lose tomorrow AND Wigan lose to Arsenal on Tuesday

You could have a situation where on the last day the amount of goals scored could be crucial.

      Newcastle vs Arsenal
      Man City vs Norwich
      Wigan vs Villa

Norwich are on -22 GD and Newcastle + Wigan are on -23 GD currently.

So you could potentially have a situation where Wigan not only need to beat Villa but maybe need to beat them by more than one goal or hope that Norwich or Newcastle lose by a certain amount of goals to better their GD.

If they all somehow ended up on the same GD, is it goals scored that counts? Because Wigan have the most goals scored and Norwich the least.

I'm feeling more confident now. Ruddy should be back. We've got everything to play for and West Brom, nothing. I'd be worried if they play Odemwingie though, I think he could cause us trouble.

The problem is, if things are going against us the fans are quickly negative and I think that could be a recipe for disaster tomorrow (to be fair, I only go to Carrow Road about once a season myself, so I can't really talk).
