Sunday’s inaugural Fantasy Football Shield final will be contested by former FFS Cup Winner “Fuzzy Dunlop” and “Mr KK” following Gameweek 37’s semi-final matches.

Fuzzy progressed to Sunday’s showpiece courtesy of a hard-fought battle with “Eunuch Jelly” with points hits the deciding factor on show. The “Jellyman” took an eight point hit, fetching in Theo Walcott, Frank Lampard and Victor Anichebe for Michu, Eden Hazard and Jermain Defoe. While that move offered him profit, it wasn’t enough to overcome Fuzzy Dunlop’s squad as he brought in both Walcott and Daniel Sturridge with explosive effect. That Sturridge transfer made the difference as Fuzzy ran out the victor by five points.

“Acquafresca’s” extraordinary run of cup form came to an abrupt end in his semi-final, as Mr KK flexed his high-rank muscles to see him off by a six point margin. Acquafresca made a positive move by bringing in Lampard but decided against taking a hit going into the tie, keeping faith with Romelu Lukaku and Carlos Tevez up front. Mr KK traded Lukaku for Sturridge with his free transfer and the rest is history.

Good luck to our two finalists – there’s a £100 Amazon voucher up for grabs for the winner, with a £50 voucher lined up for the runner-up.

Semi-Final Results

Eunuch Jelly52 – 57Fuzzy Dunlop
Mr.KK71 – 65Acquafresca

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I have noticed though that the guys running the diving schools and water activities generally tend to seem exceptionally happy and relaxed, and I'm there for 2 weeks for relaxation before going back to a more stressful life.

          Yeah.
While I do think Clyne is slightly more likely to get a clean sheet, it's the higher potential upside scoring of Baines that swings it for me.

If you miss out on Baines' 12 point haul for a Clyne 2 pointer you'll be gutted.

If you miss out on a Clyne 6 pointer for a Baines 2 pointer it won't be a big deal.

I have a H2H final ahead, so even missing out on a Clyne 6-pointer might make a difference.

If I had nothing to play for, Baines was my obvious choice.

In that case then I would go with Clyne, you're right.

Basically you simply want to win, it doesn't matter if you win by a large margin. That will just be a bonus.

I wonder why Mata's projections are so high this week. Everton have a ridiculously good recent defensive record, even away at high scoring teams, and Mata is off form and tired. I wonder what they are based off of, I'd like to believe he'd do well but I can't help thinking Maloney has more potential for higher score.

          - Likely to start.
          - Chelsea need a win to finish third
          - Better player for a better team.

          - Tired and knackered.

          Shaun Maloney
          - In form
          - On setpieces

          - No motivation
          - Villa in good form

Looks like Juan has more points going for him.

Proven quality. Abscence of Hazard means he's going to be the main man in the chelsea setup. Plus he's been amazing all season very consistent. Bagged both assists in the Europa final. Also you might no realize this but it will be a very important game for chelsea and for Benitez as well.

I'd say do De Gea to Jaaskaleinen. QPR aren't gonna score. Fellaini to Coutinho is a must, but Fellaini could be a differential if you're chasing a ML.

I've a 80 point lead so going for Walcott as a differential to try and climb the ranks. If it was closer I'd go sturridge. Definatly not Michu although he was my transfer in this week

Does anyone know when I will be able to view the team my rivals in mini-league have picked for gw 38? My stress levels are rising..

    Off topic..

Can anyone recommend any cheap and fun games on PSN? I'm thinking of getting Journey or Guacamelee but just wondered if there were any other ones I should no about. I'm into the zombie genre and I dig indie games too!
