Hull City boss Steve Bruce added to his forward options late last week by acquiring Danny Graham on a season-long loan deal from Sunderland. The former Swansea man is the club’s seventh signing of the summer and follows the likes of Allan McGregor, Curtis Davies, Maynor Figueroa and Ahmed Elmohamady to the KC Stadium as The Tigers prepare for life back in the Premier League.

Having fallen out of favour under Paolo Di Canio after just six months at Sunderland, Graham’s security of game time looks set for a significant increase in the season ahead. Judging by his new manager’s comments, it’s clear that Bruce – who has an option to make the deal permanent at the end of 2013/14 – is a huge fan of the 27-year-old:

Does anybody know if Southampton are in the market for a striker? If so - is it likely to be a big name signing or will they still play 2nd fiddle to Lambert/JRod?

You seem to have all the big teams covered. I like this team.
Still considering giroud myself instead of Walcott.
Only concern is anelka game time but probably worth the risk.

Unsure on Giroud and will probably have to reshuffle if Arsenal sign a top striker. Anelka has his fair share of critics here (people are taking a liking to JRod) but I willing to take a risk.

        Cheers for the feedback.

Like I said, I will have to reshuffle significantly to bring in Walcott. But as things stand, this is probably the most balanced draft I've come up with.

Koren --> Thomas allows Anelka to be upgraded but I'd rather not.

And to your comment below.... no, it isn't over budget - 100mil exactly!

OK a RMT that I guess will provoke some harsh critiques/rebukes.
Logic is I have 4 big hitters and 4 captain choices and 4 options to move to any other player in the league as I won't need a hit to move - big flexibility.

I guess it begs the question as to how many true captain choices you can get in a team.

Yep - thought tongue might have been in cheek, but I tend to have to downgrade both midfield and defense to bring him in - he seems a bit of a luxury when you end up with some high risk strikers to accompany him. Perhaps that will prove to be the way forward

Berba is nailed on and is on set pieces. Lazy sod though he may well be otherwise. Giroud is hit and miss, but in my draft there has to be someone who bangs in a few on any given week. Its an attempt at a mid price safety team to get points regardless of fixtures. Could be wrong though....!

Being backed up by a couple well respected ITKs too. Fine tuning on add ons to be discussed. Player has already agreed personal terms apparently. All speculation still but as a striker hungry Spurs fan, I would be over the moon.

After changing my team around too many times I've gone with this for now.

    Boruc/Mannone
    Coleman/Nastasic/Mertesacker (parr/chester)
    Hazard/Coutinho/Kagawa/Bale (pozuelo)
    Lambert/Berbatov/Sturridge

    Mignolet, Boruc
    Zabaleta, Mertesacker, Coleman, MTurner, Clyne
    Bale, Walcott, Hazard, Snodgrass, Thomas
    Aguero, JRod, Graham

I really don't like many forward options so I spent my money elsewhere...

Zaba piles forward quite a lot and I see some strong attacking returns next season.
GW3 I'll do Aguero and Hazard for RVP and cheap.

Think i have my team finished now. How does it look please?

    Mignolet / (Boruc)

    Mertesacker / Coleman / Nastasic / (Williams) / (Ward)

    Bale / Hazard / Kagawa / Snodgrass / (Thomas)

    Anelka / RVP / Gayle

Out of 10 please if you have a spare minute. Thanks a lot.

10m is a bit much to be spending on keepers - I'd go for Migs/4m or Foster/Boruc if I was you.

I'd wait and see if Nastasic is going to play every week before you commit there, don't want to be wasting a transfer fixing that early on.

      I wouldn't bother with Hazard, blank GW3.

I don't like the idea of having to play 2 of Thomas/Anelka/Gayle each week either.

I think fitting in RVP and Bale damages your team too much, 5/10

Your defence is really strong and your strikers are weak so you may be better off playing 4-5-1 or 4-4-2 rather than 3-4-3.

Or you could downgrade your defence and improve the attack.

I'm thinking of tripling city attack if Negredo appears to be nailed on. team as its stands now:

      Mignolet
      Turner / Collins / Toure
Bale / Nolan (vc) / Silva / Walcott
      Negredo / Aguero (c) / Rodriguez

      Davis / Faye / Thomas / Parr

Very high risk. Triple City Attack. Double Pool defence!

anyone on here set on a GW3 wc? if so talk to me, it seems like a really early use of it to me. But I do notice that aside from the international break, it's also the end of the transfer window, so you could pick up any new signings easily.

The main thing for me is that perhaps a GW3 wc allows you to go RvPless for 3 weeks, then get him in, but I'm not sure. Someone talk to me on this.
