I've currently got Snodgrass. Still a bit unsure of how well Norwich will do. Fixtures are good but they had such a poor spell last season, wonder if they will be a bit slow out the blocks and waste those good early fixtures

I'm thinking this too, his stats aren't overly fantastic and I'm planning on playing Turner so hoping for a Norwich cleanie anyway. May just go with Snoddy or punt on a Sunderland mid, as you said.

I also think people are forgetting the manager situation.

SAF did wonders with a mainly average team. I don't think Moyes can do the same straight off. We all saw how RVP dried up last season when he didn't get the supply. Unless Man U make some bold signings or Moyes can get Nani/Tony firing, I won't have RVP.

Bale seems to thrive under the pressure of having to do everything himself. Not convinced it would necessarily benefit him in FPL to have a reliable striker in front of him. I'd probably just start with Soldado.

Not for me although it's been tempting... far more so than the strikers. I can't get over the psychological block of having a 5.0m+ player on my bench every week.

What does a team built around that midfield look like?

I lump my forwards together and get the ones that I think will get me the most points. If it turns out to be a 'power 5' then so be it.
