Hull City boss Steve Bruce added to his forward options late last week by acquiring Danny Graham on a season-long loan deal from Sunderland. The former Swansea man is the club’s seventh signing of the summer and follows the likes of Allan McGregor, Curtis Davies, Maynor Figueroa and Ahmed Elmohamady to the KC Stadium as The Tigers prepare for life back in the Premier League.

Having fallen out of favour under Paolo Di Canio after just six months at Sunderland, Graham’s security of game time looks set for a significant increase in the season ahead. Judging by his new manager’s comments, it’s clear that Bruce – who has an option to make the deal permanent at the end of 2013/14 – is a huge fan of the 27-year-old:

Ok chaps how's this looking? Managed to crowbar in both Bale and RVP but a little worried about my lack of Chelsea.

    Ming/Marshall

    Mert/Coleman/Shaw/Parr/Luny

    Bale/Adam/Mirallas/Ben Arfa/Thomas

    RVP/Berba/Carroll

Playing the same front 7 every week with Mert, Coleman and Mignolet, Rotating Shaw, Parr and Luna depending on fixtures.

    Any good?

I was going to have Danny in my team, but with Giroud and Negredo (and Lukaku, and sturridge), I don't have a place for him ðŸ™

I think he is good value, as he will be their main striker, scoring around 10 goals (like for swansea 1st season)
5.5 for 10 goals, it doesn't get better than that.

Kone at 7.0 - is he nailed on up top of Martinez's 4-3-3? If so he's great value I think, read that Jelavic is getting loaned out and scored every 3 games for Wigan

Should be the main man upfront for old Hull. Can he be under a more dastardly system than MON's at Sunderland where barely a chance was created? I know it's Hull but maybe they'll be more direct up to big Danny. Once he finds his feet again he'll make returns as proven. (Watford 10/11 - CShip top goalscorer & Swansea 11/12 - 12 goals in the PL)

Hello all. This is my first post here. I've lurked for a while and realized I need to join if I'd like to get serious. I'd like to say thanks to all for the great discussion and info I've picked up here. Love looking at all the thoughts and trying to form my own ideas from them. Last year I played FPL for the first time but lost interest half way through and finished pretty bad (~580k). I'm trying to do well this year. I didn't have RVP for 1 single GW last year. I don't want to make that mistake again, 14.0m or not. Can someone offer their opinions?

    Team A:

    Migs - Boruc
Mert - Coleman - Clyne - Turner (NOR) - Chester
    Bale - Hazard - Walcott - Silva - Koren
    Sturridge - Lambert - Gayle

    Team B:

    Migs - Boruc
Mert - Coleman - Clyne - Turner (NOR) - Chester
    Bale - Hazard - Snoddy - Nolan - Koren
    RVP - Lambert - Gayle

With team B I can move Boruc to a 4.0m and Nolan to Mirallas if Andy is gone a bit. Which would you prefer?

    Thanks.

So its Walcott, Silva and Sturridge vs Snodgrass, Nolan and RVP. Based on fixtures and Carroll possibly missing for West Ham I'd go with team A.

As an alternative, you could get Snodgrass/Nolan instead of Silva and have Aguero up front. This makes it easier to get RVP in at a later stage without having to make 3+ transfers.

Thanks for all the replies. I typed out full teams cause I felt it'd be easier to pick seeing my whole team. I'm literally torn at the moment though like I said, I don't want to miss out on RVP again. I may bring in Aguero and drop Silva to Snodgrass as you said. This way later on I can bring in RVP and downgrade Walcott to Nolan/Mirallas.

I see a lot of people debating having a 4.0 or 4.5 behind Migs. I may drop to a 4.0 and try to use that 0.5 somewhere better.

Hi Guys, I'm new to this game (ex Sky Fantasy football) and would appreciate your feedback on my team

    GK - Migs, (Davies)
Def - Clyne, Turner, Collins (Chester, Parr)
Mid - Bale, Hazard, Walcott, Mirrales (Koren)
    Str - Aguero, JRod, Giroud

Must admit the lack of Man U (RVP mainly) is a little concerning - but considering there opening fixtures and (I think) they may need a little time under Moyes, I'm willing to take the risk.

He will be a great option regardless. Unfortunately I can't see it happening. Would love to see him back in the PL though.

Fab (c) at home to Blackburn, pure FPL pornography 🙂

Thought that might have brought back painful memories 😀

Well, the new system loves Mata & Cazorla if that helps. Not quite as much as it loves RVP though.

Apologies for the RMT, but keen to get views ahead of a long holiday...

    Boruc, Mannone

Mertesacker, Coleman, M Turner, Collins, Turner

    Bale, Hazard, Walcott, Brunt, Koren

    Negredo, Sturridge, Aluko

Unsure about Brunt and Negredo primarily. Koren and Aluko have the potential to score very well (I'm a Hull fan...) I know that doubling up on them is silly, especially as Koren in particular is highly likely to be rotated heavily depending on opponents (where Bruce wants to keep things tight I expect he will be on the bench). But Koren has a real eye for goal, and Aluko (if plays up top or off the front man) has the potential to be very explosive - he is a class act.

Brunt has great fixtures, but to be honest I would prefer to have Snodgrass, Miralles or HBA in there. Just don't know how...

    Thanks

Spot the deliberate mistake from previous page...
