No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      I would also be wary of Spurs MF, virtually all new faces. I wonder how they will get along to begin the year.

        Sorry, should have added more. Wary of Spurs MF just in terms of service to Soldado. There's no doubt Soldado is class and should be a nice FPL player.

    Is Zabaleta a rotation risk. I know he had a great season last year, but is Richards going to take up a chunk of his starts? I would like to have Zabaleta but am a little concerned.

      I wouldn't personally invest in city defence at the minute. They are playing a new high line system which doesn't suit the defence and I can see them conceding a few if they carry on with this

      I only have two. I don't like having my transfers tied up. There could be injuries are some particular player that I want to get that I cannot because of the need to transfer other players. And I am not overly confident that many Chelsea players are going to have significant playing time over two matches. Then there is Man U in week two. I have Cole and Hazard as Captain.

      Just because Clyne hasn't had a preseason. Another factor that could come into play is that Shaw is young and hyped, players like this tend to do well for price increases.

    The only problem I have is deciding on strikers:

    Szczesny / Lewis
    Ivanovic / Toure / Collins / B.Turner / Chester
    Michu / Hazard / Silva / Walcott / Jedinak
    Lukaku / Sturridge / Dzeko

    Plan for GW2 is Lukaku --> Soldado (Have 0.5 in bank and Ivan out to Lescott/Koscielny)
