No thrills. Few spills. Just two men in a room talking about Fantasy Football.

Granville and I handed Jonty and the “Professor” an extended pre-season and rolled the ScoutCast back to its rawest form. Just myself and the Mancunian sharing our thoughts after a summer break and looking forward to another Fantasy campaign.

We talk double Gameweek assets, I roll out the van Persie duvet, Granville reveals more than he should about his team lineup and, around all that, we assess the early bandwagons and preview the weekend fixtures.

Forty-five minutes of two blokes talking about the stuff that’s rattling around in most of our heads right now.

      Brayford not nailed on. At least for GW 1, Conolly will take his place.
      But Brayford is interesting as he will probably start the easier and home games as he's good getting forward. So if you're looking for a safe, nailed on, backup benchfolder, look elsewhere. But a rotating cheapo, Brayford is good.

      Burner will play in GW 1. But may face competition from Hudson.

      So no definite nailed on 4.0 from Cardiff so far.

      with my squad I'd rather have migs and two other liverpool attackers through the season than have Toure. IMO. but if you plan on not having Suarez, Coutinho and Migs then no worries mate.

        U would rather have Toure till GW6 or 7. Skrtel has been completely out of favor.. Will mostly be sold. Sturridge is a better option than Suarez since Suarez will not be played up front.. if he stays that is.. maybe in the hole.. That means up front its still Dan.

    Why is everyone saying that Morrison will be affected by the arrival of Downing, he plays central whereas Downing is a winger. I thought Jarvis is the one who would have to fight for his spot.
    Am i missing something??

          but really...I'd say safest pick would be hart or a defender like Kompany to rep City at first. Many new boys to assess and rotation could frustrate you to all ends.

    HI GUYS GREETINGS FROM BRUNEI!

    Hope you won't mind my first-ever RMT for this coming season:

    Foster / Boruc
    Toure / Murner / Terry / Chester / Ward
    Mirallas / Walcott / Hazard / Kim / Morrison
    Lukaku / vanPersie / Benteke

    GW2: Terry -> Collins/Mbiwa and Lukaku -> Soldado for a -4 hit
    GW3: Benteke -> Sturridge

    Thoughts comments and voilent reactions all welcome! I'm not entirely sure about rotating Kim and Morrison as a 4th mid but I don't know how else to keep van Persie in..

      Not a fan of Morrison but the team and plan is solid. Sissoko or Lallana might be a better options as they have nice fixtures.

          Which Morrison do you have? I thought you meant the WBA one which is 6m. for a cheap player there really isn't a lot beyond Kim.

            oops totally forgot about that! i have Ravel in that slot, any other 4.5-ers worthy of a punt? maybe keep CP's Thomas in there 'til he's fit to play again? or Pozuelo? argh dilemmas!

      Not too sure about Gerrard, I think Coutinho is the better option, plays further upfront. I like the rest, ive picked Walcott instead of Cazorla though

      Mannone is not 100% 1st choice.

      Collins is a dire choice imo

      Walcott could be improved by playing Rambo( gd G/W 1 diff.) freeing funds.

      Coutinho not against Stoke!!!
      Sturridge not against Stoke!!!

      Lambert never in a month of lead legs sundays.
      Benteke will get you a D/GW blank

      Don't like Evra with the difficult fixtures early and price, so downgrade him to a 4.5 or 5m defender and upgrade Tonev to Snodgrass as midfield is weak. Also trade Given who wont play.

            Sturridge - plenty of goals + the odd assist, but can be frustrating with injuries

            Silva - plenty of assists + the odd goal, if he plays in the 'Isco' role (out wide some games, central in others) you might even get more than the odd goal.

    FPL really needs to improve their forum for dialogue between players in leagues during seasons.

    Get rid of the word limit on posts and let people post funny articles about fellow players.

    Put a message box on the side of your team view so you can see when there's new messages in your league(s).
