Does anybody know (or care to have a guess at) what's going on with Sky Sports FF's captaincy rule?
Before the season somebody got clarification that you could change your captain before a gameweek started, and once again during a gameweek. I started GW1 with RVP (c), then changed to Soldado (c) before Sunday's match @ Palace, scoring double points for both. Now I'm trying to change my (c) to Mirallas for Saturday's game, but it's not allowing me. Is this because the game hasn't been updated to GW2 yet, or was the clarification incorrect?Open Controls
They have said 1 captain change, and 2 captains across their TV show and info, confusing everyone.
The way I understand it is You had your original captain, then GW 1 you had 1 change and you made it. GWs run Saturday to Friday. So on Saturday morning up until Friday you can change your captain during GW 2.
The trick is of course to set a captain on Sunday/Monday that plays the next GW on Saturday, so that you can change on the Sunday to another player who plays the following GW on a Saturday. That will get you double captains.
In this case if you changed to Chelsea like I did, they play last in GW 2 so either I leave it or I change to someone else, either way I only get 1 captain for GW 2.Open Controls
Yep this is correct but you can use transfers to remove your chelsea player for a liverpool player for example who plays sat then use your captain change sunday or monday
Open ControlsI've only seen a FISO post where someone says they phoned them and were told selling your captain forces you to change to a new captain and use up your weekly change. Implication is you can't sell your captain if you have already changed captain to them that GW. Of course it will need testing out to see if that is really the case.

I did the same, presume you can use a transfer on your Chelsea player though to someone who plays on Saturday, and then switch it to say RVP for the Monday. (I think)

Yes, that was the original interpretation of the rule (and may be the way it is), but a user on here e-mailed Sky FF for clarification before the season started and was told you could make 2 changes per week (1, pre-gameweek, 1 during the gameweek) if I remember correctly.
