As the dust begins to settle after last night’s match at the Bridge drew a line under Gameweek 1, we cast an eye back over the 11 matches played out. In particular, we analyse some impressive attacking performances at the back and, crucially, highlight a number of protagonists who stood head and shoulders above many of their team-mates last time out from an offensive point of view.

Absolutely, lets see how they do in the weeks forthcoming. Part of his appeal when at SWA was his PK attraction. I would suggest that a 6.5 mid or below will emerge soon and give us all some budget relief. Sinclair might well be one of them.

I remember him at Swans and he was a very good player. Give him a few games to gain match fitness and get to know the team and I'm sure he could be a good prospect

      Yes.

If you plan to sell again to make cash, keep in mind that you only get 1/2 of the amount they increased by when selling.

      E.G.

6m starting, rises to 6.2 or 6.3, would only sell at 6.1m
rises to 6.1, would sell at 6

Scouting for a 4th mid for 5.0...options so far:

    A) Kim - had a good pre season, somewhat dodgy fixtures.

    B) Brady/Koren - Hull looked half decent vs Chelsea, didn't get ravaged as I thought. These 2 are decent.

    C) Redmond - Also good pre-season, played 86mins. In doubt of holding his starting spot imo.

    D) Barkley - young talent, great first game, but will he keep his place?

Any other legitimate 5.0 or lower players you would consider playing week in week out?

Kim's fixtures are a worry. He took a while to settle into the Championship and judging from his first game he may do so again in the Premier League.

Redmond is a decent shout but once Pilkington's fit I wouldn't expect Redmond to be nailed on.

Barkley, if he can keep his place, will be a great pick. His solid pre-season/opening day form + the fact he is almost directly competing with Gibson who is average might mean he will hold down a spot but it's not certain.

Out of Koren/Brady, Brady looked the better pick vs Chelsea and in a 4-3-3/4-5-1 he was the most advanced with Koren playing deep, then he moved wide in a front 3. He also took more control over set pieces so he'd be my pick.

Zaba - Pellegrini may be impressed by Lescott and could well become first choice alongside Kompany.

Who is Man Utds best option in Midfield?

Want to do Lukaku ---> Soldado
    Harzard -----> 7.5m Mid

I have no Utd player in my team and there is value in their midfield

Any other 7.5 Mid worth it? Have Coutinho, Walcott, Miralles, Kim
