With goals a premium from Saturday’s matches, we roll into Sunday with high expectations. Today’s fixtures certainly give us room for optimism.

Proceedings get underway shortly at the Hawthorns and Anfield, where West Brom go in search of their first goal of the season against a Swansea side still looking to get a first point on the board. Alongside that affair, we’ve the small matter of Liverpool’s clash with United – a match that hosts an array of Fantasy talent, not least Robin van Persie, adorning the captain’s armband for many.

Later today, we’re treated to the North London derby. A clash which rarely disappoints when it comes to goals and incidents. It’s fair to say that we’re expecting fireworks again, as Arsenal attempt to keep momentum after the win at Fulham, while Andre Villas-Boas’ side arrive at the Emriates with a 100% record and without a league goal conceded.

The team news from the early kick-offs is in and is as follows:

Liverpool make just one change to the side that edged past Villa in Gameweek 2. Kolo Toure’s failure to recover from a groin injury sustained in midweek allows Martin Skrtel to partner Daniel Agger in central defence as the Reds attempt to register their third successive shut-out of the season.

For United, Wayne Rooney is absent with a head wound – David Moyes has confirmed he will be sidelined “for a few weeks” with the injury. The United boss brings in Ryan Giggs and Ashley Young on the flanks and drops Antonio Valencia to the bench – Giggs’ inclusion looks set to see Danny Welbeck moved centrally once again after he was shifted to the flank to accommodate Rooney’s return against Chelsea last Monday.

Michael Laudrup hands Wilfried Bony his first Premier league start at the Hawthorns. Jonathan de Guzman drops out in the only change from the side that lost at Spurs last weekend –Bony, Ashley Williams and Jonjo Shelvey all recover from the knocks that kept them out of midweek Europa League action, with the Ivorian’s inclusion allowing Michu to return to his preferred role in “the hole”.

Steve Clarke makes three alterations for the hosts. Boaz Myhill replaces the injured Ben Foster between the sticks, Nicolas Anelka is back after being granted compassionate leave last week, while Scott Sinclair is handed his first league start for the Baggies against his old club – Graham Dorrans and Markus Rosenberg are the men to drop out.

Our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now accepting vistors for the early kick-off and will remain open until the final kick at the Emirates.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

      Bad

But seeing those players, a -4 is warranted if your squad is poor. Be careful with the international break as players will pick up injuries during the break and you may find yourself missing other players. If your not on a wild card, don't try to play the markets.

    Hi guys!

I need some of your expert advice. Team: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/entry/624174/event-history/3/

I would like to ditch Lambert and Dzeko for a 4 point hit and get 2 out of Benteke, Giroud and Sturridge.

Leaning towards Giroud and Benteke at the moment. P.S. I want to keep Soldado in my team for his good fixtures.

Would also love to know this. I reckon he'll trial Nani while Rafael/ Jones are out and then decide whether he wants to continue with him.

Signed a new deal so obviously Moyes likes him. Maybe Young will drop to the bench. Wasn't too impressed by him today

Toure - Koscielny - Coleman (Ward Shaw) --> Here I want to upgrade Toure to Walker
Coutinho - Silva - Mirallas - Walcott (Brady) --> I want to downgrade Cout and Mirallas to fund RVP
Lambert - Soldado - Benteke --> I want to sell Soldado for sturridge and Lambert to RVP.

    Wildcard is activated.

Seeing as Giroud is rising tonight I'm forced to make a decision today to get him in or not.
Tekkers and Studge are not going out but maybe Soldado?

So my question is: Should I do that move today or face the 0.1 rise and see what happens on transfer deadline day first?

    Advice badly needed.

You're on a wildcard. That means you can do it now, and change your mind later. Nothing that happens tomorrow will affect Soldado, really, so if he's the one you're thinking of shipping you may as well do it now.

Need some help lads, tam is:

    Boruc / Davis
    Murner / Shaw / Chester / Collins / Cashley
    Silva / Walcott / Coutinho / Mirallas / Jedinak
    RVW / Giroud / Soldado

Have 1FT and 2.7m in the bank I have the exact money for RVW -> RVP and Silva -> Brady (-4).

Happy to play Brady in the next four games but he is rising tonight.

Other option is to bring in sturridge for RVW.

The lack of patience and appreciation some show Giroud is baffling.

His style of play means that he needs time to adapt to a new team, like a lot of players, and especially finishers - do. The fact that he has strong in the air and had very good supply from midfield meant his first season in the premiership was solid and not the disaster it was made out to be.

His second seasons have been excellent in his past teams; if Arsenal do not sign a new center forward it will be because they have a great one already.

Even today I felt he was so wasteful on the ball. He is great for tap ins and the occasional header goal, but he just makes a wrong or poor choice so frequently. As the only striker at Arsenal, he might be worth having, but as a football fan watching the game.... I shake my head at him far too much.

Chuck Yoshida out for another Soton defender or Collins sometime soon

Midfield is fine, not many options there.

Up front, presumably you got Campbell in last week, and still want him as a cheap striker, so stick with that, and debate whether its worth dropping Aguero for Sturridge/Benteke/Giroud

      Not WC worthy IMO

Just take a hit, no need to WC Prats

Kun + Camp > Benteke + Studge if you can afford it

      Hmm, the foundations look alright.

I don't think Coutinho is covering Sturridge well.

No need for 2 city players so aguero to Sturridge or if you can wait an early gamble on Suarez?

Minor tweaks after that. Don't panic.

Name that player from the moaning.

"Oh no, my 7.5 million forward hasn't scored 21 goals yet despite playing 2 of his three games away from home".

Eh? What are they all on?

Mr bag wins it with Lambert!

Not sure what people want from him.

1 in 3 means around 12 goals- solid fr a mid price striker IMO.

Ozil? why would he be in fpl? did utd sign him? Ozil is an assist machine he'd probably get 20+ if he was to come to epl
