So far this term, Paddy has us on the ropes. Two Gameweeks of bets have seen us register some near misses but we’re still two tenners down and without a win. This week we turn to some sure-fire Fantasy assets to help us swing matters back in our favour as we ponder Paddy Power’s Scout Pick inspired markets.

We need look no further than Robin van Persie. As mentioned in last night’s Paddy Says article, the Dutchman is at at 1/2 to score anytime against Ian Holloway’s Palace in the early kick-off. Hugely fancied, then, he’ll be sporting the armband for thousands of Fantasy managers, with the rest cowering behind the sofa in fear of a goal blitz. Those in fear of the Dutchman exploding may be interested in softening the potential blow. Paddy are offering 5/1 on Van Persie scoring two or more goals vs Palace and United keeping a clean sheet. We’ll have some of that action for £4 of our crispy tenner.

Theo Walcott is the other big gun on show. Safely nestled in the Scout Picks midfield, along with Olivier Giroud, he’ll provide the cutting edge for Arsene Wenger’s outfit at the Stadium of Light. With or without the promptings of tummy-bug victim, Mesut Ozil, the Gunners look well placed to snatch the points against a Sunderland side low on confidence after the Selhurst Park setback. Paddy have Walcott at 5/1 for an anytime goal with an Arsenal clean sheet against the Black Cats. Again, that’s enough to tempt £4 from our pockets.

That leaves just a couple of quid to throw Paddy’s way and we’re going to place it on a Scout Picks punt. Hull City’s Robbie Brady finds a spot in the midfield for the KC clash with Cardiff and, with his wand-like left peg from set-plays set to feature prominently, we’re happy to take on odds of 16/1 on a Brady goal with a Hull City clean sheet at home to the Bluebirds.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I'm an United fans. And I think he is but only 60% as a winger. In fact is he is more nailed on than Young and Kagawa. But in United all wingers are not more than 70% nailed on.

Not good = Bad. I wouldn't get too caught in grading levels of FPL undesirability in this case. It's a simple gamble on your GK staying fit with a 4pt hit if you lose. Not worth the risk.

"Fernando was injured, then he went on international duty when he was on the fringe of being fit," said the Dutch manager.

"He was on the bench against Chile but played in their last match, so he came back fit.

"If he will start it will be the first time, so it's not easy.
