Tottenham and Arsenal justify their lofty league positions by supplying us with some eye-catching statistics over the weekend. Michu’s goal threat against Palace, Southampton’s defensive solidity and Chelsea’s attacking midfield trio also come under our analytical eye in this week’s regular sift through the data for members.

Soldado is doing my head in. He's getting chances and has good fixtures.
Open Controls-
It's worse watching every game too, just seems so close to scoring every match. I'm not 100% convinced by Eriksen FPLwise yet. Think I'll jump on Lamela after Chelsea possibly.
Open Controls-
Him and Lambert are doing my head in.
Both are producting shots in the box and on target at a great rate but without the same success as the likes of Benteke, Rooney, Studge and Giroud.Open Controls

2)Ozil and Paulhino?Open Controls-

I know most are considering WC if they still have it this week but what do you guys think about my team? Sat at 1.3 million rank and thinking it's time?
Boruc
Koscielny Toure Clichy
Walcott HBA Mirallas Moses
Aguero Sturridge Giroud
Subs - Speroni Ward Williams Chester
1FT, 3.0 in the bankOpen Controls-
-
Depends who are you thinking of bringing in ? Seems ok to me but Toure and clichy standout as problems
Open Controls-
At the moment..
Out - Ward Chester Toure Clichy Walcott HBA Mirallas Williams Moses Aguero
In - Vidic Wilson Turner Nastasic Ozil Michu Barkley Brady Eriksen Rooney
😐Open Controls

-
-
WC not needed. Clichy out for someone cheapish and upgrade to Michu after Arsenal. Williams will be a solid defender for the next few weeks
Open Controls
-
-
-
But I was just thinking of doing Soldado out for Aguero, yet if his numbers suggest he will perform how can I lose him?
Open Controls-
Yes, good question. I only saw the highlights of the game yesterday, and he really should've scored one. I suppose it's also a question of how many Spurs are scoring atm. Our defence is where it seems better to invest. I'm considering having Walker and Eriksen over Soldado.
Open Controls-
Trust the numbers. Soldado will come good in the next few weeks
Open Controls
-
-
You will love it if Aguero scores, but will hate the transfer when he's on the bench. There are too many forward options at Man City, but Soldado is the main forward at Tottenham. I'd stick with Soldado.

I currently am on Coleman (already playing Mirallas) and Collins!Open Controls -
Lost on last post. Reposting for who might have missed. If Wally indeed has a tear it might end in tears for us owners:
"Recovery time lengths depend on the severity of the injury and your dedication to caring for your body. Grade 1 tears heal within one month. Grade 2 tears take up to six weeks to heal, and because grade 3 tears may require surgical repair, they require up to three months to heal. Steadfast icing, rest and physical therapy can expedite the recovery times, but sometimes abdominal muscle tears take longer. Be patient with them."
http://orthopedics.answers.com/diagnosis/the-diagnosis-and-treatment-of-an-abdominal-muscle-tear
"Resting may be the common sense approach, but it is one that is often ignored by competitive athletes. This is unwise, since it does not take much to turn a grade one strain into a grade two, or a grade two strain into a grade three. As a general rule, grade one injuries should be rested from sporting activity for about 3 weeks and grade two injuries for about 4 to 6 weeks. In the case of a complete rupture, the muscle may have to be repaired surgically and the rehabilitation afterwards will take about 3 months."

so do we reckon Walcott may be out for much longer than just last (&next) GW..? 😐

How do these moves look (depending on mid-week games):
Soldado + RVP + Chester out for
Rooney + Saurez + Walker
?Open Controls -
Ya Ya im starting to wonder is he actualy a good option ?
Open Controls-
He's a defensive mid they say. He plays deep they say. He's too expensive they say.
He keeps scoring, is top of the midfielder scoring rankings and 8 off the overall top score for any FPL player.
Villa are next.Open Controls

Shit back and hope Wally & Tekkers are fit. I think Benteke will be.
Otherwise good team, apart from Chester, but shouldn't need him this week.Open Controls

This was lost in the previous post. Trying again.
Current team:
Mignolet
Coleman - Cole - Clyne
Silva - Michu - Walcott - Ben Arfa
Benteke - Lambert - Soldado
Subs: Davis, Whittingham, Turner, Ward
Which transfer should I do?
1. Cole --> Walker (Tottenhams defence has been solid, potential for bps than Cole)
2. Silva --> Oscar (Silva still marked as doubtful)
3. Walcott --> Oscar (Walcott doubtful)
4. Benteke --> Giroud (Benteke doubtful)
5. Save transfer
6. Some other transferOpen Controls-
Wait for the injury update news and then transfer out the guy who gets confirmed as injured. And if none are injured, then get rid of Silva. He'd be my priority to get out anyway, to be honest.

I thought Wally just had a bad stomach....
When that happens to me it goes after a few days - and thats without being paid millions...Open Controls -
Coleman to Baines worth a 4 p hit?
Open Controls -
Rodgers says Luis Suarez is "champing at the bit to return". Nom, nom, nom. Welcome to my team sir!
Open Controls -
if Walcott confirmed to be out for a while, I think I'll wildcard to sth like this:
Migs - Lewis
Zabaleta - Mertesacker - Clyne - Wilson - 4.0
Ozil - Michu - Eriksen - Barkley - Whittingham
Rooney - Sturridge - GiroudOpen Controls -
Need some help please. I have two defenders who aren't playing (Chester and Baker) What should I do?
A) Baker/Chester to Wilson?
B) Baker/Chester to Clyne?
C) Baker/Chester to Ferdinand?
Mignolet / Daniels
Zabaleta / Coleman / Collins / Chester / Baker
Shelvey / Michu / Walcott / Ben Arfa / Brady
Lukaku / Giroud / RVP
A or B will allow me to do Shelvey to Moses / Barkley / Ramsey / Arnautovic next week.
C will limit me to do Shelvey to Arnautovic.
The Shelvey transfer is because I just transferred in Michu for Lampard and don't really care to have two Swansea midfielders moving forward. I'm currently leaning towards Baker to Clyne.Open Controls-
-
Thanks. I'm leaning towards Clyne as the Southhampton defense has been surprisingly good this season, whereas Stoke haven't proven their strength at the back yet. Wilson playing OOP is very tempting, but I don't know how much he is contributing to the attack.
Open Controls-
Had a really good shot yesterday. But that's about it.
I reckon it's 50/50.....Open Controls-
Yeah, I looked at the stats comparison and it hasn't really convinced me either way as there haven't been enough games. Both have decent fixtures, though Stoke may have a slight edge in that area. That being said, perhaps Southhampton's defense is playing that slight bit better than Stokes. Tough call.
Open Controls-
-
I saw you did two transfers this week too. Did you drop Lampard and Benteke? I did the following:
Benteke to Lukaku
Lampard to Michu
The defender transfer will be my third transfer. I really don't want to take a -8 hit this week, but if Walcott and RVP don't play, then I only have Chester and Baker to come on and give me 0pts.Open Controls-
-
I see. Maybe the two transfers at -4 was for this week.

A) Benteke -> Suarez
B) HBA -> Michu
any other suggestions??Open Controls -
Used my wildcard and in panic mode after a crap weekend.
Please someone talk me out of this 12 p hit
Coleman to Baines
Ben Arfa to Michu
Evra to Clyne
Agger to WilsonOpen Controls-
None of those are good ideas except Barfa to Michu, but even that is not that pressing. I assume that you need to do the others to fund the previous. If you want to free up funds to do one of the others later, the least terrible move would be Agger to Wilson, I think.

rvp or rooney??
