Tottenham and Arsenal justify their lofty league positions by supplying us with some eye-catching statistics over the weekend. Michu’s goal threat against Palace, Southampton’s defensive solidity and Chelsea’s attacking midfield trio also come under our analytical eye in this week’s regular sift through the data for members.
-
Boruc
Zabaleta Coleman Collins
Ozil Walcott Michu HBA
Soldado Sturridge Giroud
Lewis/Chester/Yoshida/Cabral (Have 0.5M in bank)
As you can see, I have no one playing on bench!
A) Yoshida to Fonte (No hit and solves 1 bench spot)
B) Soldado & HBA to Rooney & Barkley/Brady (-4 hit and remain with no bench)
C) Yoshida, HBA, and Cabral to Vidic, Brady, and Barkley (-8 hit but solves the bench, also have the exact amount of cash to do this so any rise and it's not affordable)
Any suggestions lads? 😀Open Controls -
Any idea when is the next press conference or interview from wenger and moyes?? Need an update on wally and rvp.....the WC button is calling..

Hi
How does this look for a wc team?
Mignolet (Daniels)
Terry Zabaleta Ferdinand Coleman (Chester)
Oscar Erikksen Ozil (Morison) (Barkley)
Giroud rooney Sturidge
0.3m in bankOpen Controls-
Looks good, but not too sure about Ferdinand, Utd defence playing like they've never met each other so far.

Anybody on here in the "Last man standing" league?
If so remind me of how it works, i.e how many are knocked out each week.Open Controls-
I'm in it , not sure how it works ...am 505 in it , but if there were worse scores than mine this week I feel for them

Hey folks
I have 2FT and thinking of taking a hit to do:
Out: Benteke, Soldado, Lampard
In: Giroud, Lukaku, Michu
Or shall I just keep Soldado for now?
Mignolet, Given
Vidic, Coleman, Turner, Turner, Chester
Walcott, Lampard, HBA, Whittingham, Brady
Benteke, RVP, Soldado
What do you think of my proposed moves?
Thank you!Open Controls -
Berbilly Gilmore I think I have registered for the cup 🙂 how do we get updated or so. need to do anything else?

Mignolet
Zabaleta - Vidic - Coleman
Hazard - HBA - Whittingham - Walcott*
Benteke* - Sturridge (v) - Rooney (c)
Boruc - Collins - JWP - Chester
Bank = 0.2
FT = 0
WC = Used
Used my FT to do Soldado > Rooney just before Benteke got injured. Looks like I'll have to take a hit to sort out this mess... Suggestions?Open Controls -
STATS, are we guilty of focusing too much on them? Ive been on this site for the last 2 years & my previous season rank was better than the last 2.
Open Controls-
Yeah I feel my choices work out better when I watch the players play and decide to get them in, than when I just see some good-looking stats.

I was saying earlier about my top of Minileague rival who doesn't really know what he is doing (supposedly) but has 5 expensive defenders that have scored him loads of points, Ramsey, Yaya, Aguero and brought in Nasri before the weekend! He's raking it in!

In a bit of a pickle, team for next week is as follows: What a bad start this year has been rank = 1.5 mil ugh compared to last years in top 100k finish.
Vorm
Coleman, Turner, Agger
Eriksen, Ozil, Michu, Ramsey
Benteke, Giroud, Soldado
Bench: Redmond, Dawson, Chester
0.3 in bank.Open Controls -
I have 2 free transfers to use this week.
Current team:
Mig Boruc
Coleman Walker Collins Sagna Chester
Walcott Lamps Hernandez BenArfa Brady
Bentek Sturridge Giroud
Am thinking of: Walcott > Ozil, and Benteke > Rooney
Worth it?Open Controls -
Thoughts on this WC team?

Baines / Vidic / Dawson / Clyne / Turner
Michu / Ramsey / Özil / Brady / Barkley

Team looks good. Wouldn't know who to bench though.
Open Controls -
Turner to Wilson (stoke). stoke have decent fixtures coming up. You would need another .1 though
Open Controls-
Need 0.5 more as it is Ben Turner. Not too fussed as I will almost always play the 3 big defenders.

Mignolet - Daniels
Ivanovic - Mertesacker - Vertonghen -Vidic - Zabaleta
Brady - Ward-Prowse - Michu - Ozil - Barkley
Lukaku - Giroud - Bony
I have 1.5m spare, i was thinking about using it to Transfer Dainels for Vorm or Boruc and swapping Ward-Prowse for Whittingham.
My other option is trade out Vidic for Coleman and Mignolet for Boruc and bring in Suarez for Bony.

Dilemma
I've got a few injury doubts at the moment (RVP, Walcott, Benteke)
If Benteke is out, I will do Benteke > Lukaku
Do you think it is better to do it tonight before I lose 0.1 on Benteke or wait until we know more and take the cash hit?Open Controls -
I can just about guarantee that Soldado will score 2 goals vs Chelsea, the fixture no-one would expect him to score in, the weekend I ship him out.
Open Controls-
Sadly I second this. Especially after taking Brady out for Moses this week... 🙁

This is fpl. there's no such thing an ideal. score over 70 and that's your ideal team!
Play the fixtures, it's your best bet to get a good team!Open Controls

Is it worth wildcarding this:
Mignolet, Harper
Coleman, Toure, Shaw, Collins, Turner
Ozil, HBA, Nolan, Kim, Brady
RVP, Soldado, Giroud
to this...
Mignolet, DAVIS
Coleman, TERRY, WILSON, Shaw, Turner
Ozil, Ben Arfa, MICHU, Brady, KASAMI
ROONEY, SUAREZ, Giroud
I look forward to your comments.
Thank you very much.Open Controls-
RVP & Soldado have great fixtures coming up. If you have the cash id look at bringing Vidic in & save your WC

Did Rodgers seriously say "How Luis has prepared himself has been fantastic. He's champing at the bit to help the team"?? Have they fitted him with one to prevent any further trouble with opening his mouth?

Is Wilson nailed on guys?
Thanks 🙂Open Controls-
Played every game so far, Oop and cheap, Worth a slight risk given their fixtures
