Having racked up nine goals and 16 assists in his debut season in the Premier League, many had anticipated Eden Hazard to step up another level under the guidance of Jose Mourinho. While he impressed over Chelsea’s pre-season program, the Belgian has stuttered domestically and with five league games done and dusted, Hazard has produced just a single assist so far:

Although Juan Mata has cut a peripheral figure in the Blues first XI and featured just twice in the league, Hazard has started all five of his side’s fixtures and played all but six minutes of the season so far. Despite his security of game time, the midfielder’s faltering form has resulted in a mass exodus across the Fantasy games – indeed, Hazard has shed more owners in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game than any other player by a significant margin, with over 590,000 owners parting company.

      I know it isn't much of an excuse but I suppose its because they often try to play the ball to the front post for a flick on - a sort of risk and reward situation.

    Like a few of us my team is a mess and I have prioritised getting rid of Walcott and Benteke. I looked at a few combinations and thought I may as well share and hopefully get some feedback/inspiration.

    Michu and Sturridge + fixtures and form - Suarez may have negative impact on Sturridge

    Michu could be replaced by Oscar, Eriksen or Yaya.
    Sturridge could be exchanged for Giroud.

    Suarez and Valencia + fixtures and class - Suarez may not fire straight off/bit of a punt

    Valencia could be replaced by Brady, Ben Arfa, Ramsey or Arnautovic.
    Suarez could be swapped with Aguero or Rooney.

    Ozil and Lukaku + assist machine and the beast - will Lukaku rotate?

    Oddly no one sticks out as a replacement for Ozil.
    Lukaku could be replaced by Berbatov, Lambert, Remy, Bony.

    Sturridge and Michu are my favourite but if Suarez impacts Sturridge I will have to downgrade until Benteke is back.

                  +1. At his best, there is little to choose between him and Sturridge pound for pound. For the next few games, there is only one choice.

    Sorry to interrupt during a game but which strategy do you prefer on defenders:

    Big hitters: Evra + Coleman...to play every game

    A: wilson + williams + rosenier....hull/swan rotate great, wilson has good fixtures..can play either 343 or 433 occasionally

    B: Mertesacker/Nasty + rosenier + burner...so play the 3 big hitters every gw

    both have the same cost...leaning towards A as its more balanced and allows cover if someone gets dropped/injured

    If RvP is not fit, it is very tempting not to captain Rooney. If Chica is gonna play, Rooney will be very much a support striker as Chica isn't really capable of dropping deeper and influencing play the way Rooney and RvP are. This lowers his potential

        it's simply because Hernandez is a goalscorer, he sits on the shoulder of the defence and tries to run in behind, that's his whole game, so Rooney has to be the one that comes deep,. When Rooney and RvP play together, both can do either job so the tend to alternate who stays forward and who drops deep
