Back after a five-week break, Granville and I have squeezed in two holidays, two wildcards, an engagement (certainly not to each other), a dose of man flu and a near-on leg amputation. Packed, I tell thee.

The other highlight has been the steady and consistent decline of my Fantasy season, giving my co-host Granville plenty of ammunition. Reclined in his armchair, leg braced like James Stewart, the stricken Mancunian leaves his Rear Window to investigate the brutal murder of my fantasy team.

Once the taunting dies down, we manage to tackle the old regulars: bandwagons are assessed, the weekend is previewed and the ScoutCast team gets some love on its way to outscoring my lineup for a fifth week running. Sigh.

Hobble our way via this link, or cast you ears in our direction via the player below:

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

Not sure why so many are being quick to get rid of Brady. A cheap, bench-fodder player before his recent returns who, after the latest quotes from Bruce, is thought to only miss one GW.

He misses Villa (h) but then faces Everton (a) and Spurs (a) both of which probably wouldn't return much anyway. After which he has great fixtures.

Other injury/suspension concerns aside, it makes no real sense to sell him, especially if you've built up a bit of value with him.

Depends how people have structured their teams now. Some people have gone very cheap in mid meaning that brady's price range is no longer bench fodder.

My missus is dumping him for Barkley for Brady as she would have Jedinek starting otherwise. For teams where he is the 5th mid or they have a decent option then a trade does seem pointless to me. Although others have been upgrading to Rambo which also makes sense.

Brady was my 4th mid, so I definitely needed him playing. 5th mid JWP. tough position, but I had to sell. Would you have done otherwise if he's your 4th mid?

I am worried about Silva starting. To be honest I think it is between him and Whittingham but Newcastle seem a team primed to concede a set piece goal away at Cardiff.

I am only considering benching him because Whittingham has a great fixture and is on good form but really because I think he might start on the bench for City. If he was nailed on to play 90 minutes he would be starting.

Well silva did come on midweek - so you gotta presume he will start.
Pardew is under a little pressure and this might be a game he might sneak a 1-1 /1-2 . Cardiff ain't full of goals but I know what you mean .
Silva in a home game (Everton leaky) ALL day for me .

Silva was impressive when he came on and helped change the flow of the game. He could be the next bandwagon. It is just that Pelligrini said he was only fit to play 30 minutes. If he is fit he will start otherwise I can see a bench appearance. Hope Pelligrini tells more today.

Whats incredible is that its hardly a maverick pick but going by the ridiculous wave of support for Suarez when both players have an easy fixture is a little over the top. RVP makes the better differential and an equally good captaincy option at least.

If you captain RVP, you have a differential over the FFS community but not the casuals.

If you captain Suarez you have a huge differential

Perhaps but the end result is that we are ultimately competing against each other. Ignore the casuals as they will slowly fall away as the season goes on.

Indeed, his price is wrapped up in his captaincy potential. However I don't like how it can cause you to limit other possibilities. Suarez has a great fixture as well. It is a very valid question and an interesting captaincy debate (so long as people take an unbiased opinion).

I own neither (worringly - also don't own Sturridge) so hopefully can be unbiased. I agree that you spend the premium as you will make him captain in every favourable game. This certainly counts as a favourable game. My strike force is Lambert (who I captained last week), Soldado (this weeks captain...punty!) and Giroud (next weeks captain). I have a lot of options with the rest of my team with a relatively budget attack but not the security which a RVP owner has.

a for me. I think it's safe to say Liverpool are bigger flat track bullies than United.

Not ruling out the possibility of a United rampage, but judging from how Sunderland were up for it against Liverpool (3-1 was not a reflection of the game) and United's inability to create chances, I would say Suarez is the safer bet.

      Key word, safer.
