[sbu_large_image] Suspensions

Ravel Morrison is the latest player to climb atop the Suspension Tightrope after picking up a booking for a challenge on Michu in yesterday’s goalless draw at the Liberty:

The Hammers youngster is one of a quartet of protagonists just a single caution away from a one-match ban; he must avoid another yellow until after January 1 (Gameweek 21) in order to trigger an automatic suspension. The others include Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini and Villa pair Fabian Delph and Ashley Westwood, though in terms of Fantasy interest, Morrison, with two goals and an assist in the last five league games, is the major concern, with a 5% ownership in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.

Flamini’s potential groin injury, which forced him off after just eight minutes in Saturday’s win at Palace, means he has now gone two appearances without incurring the referee’s wrath, compared to four booking in his first five upon returning to the Emirates.

The Frenchman’s midfield partner Mikel Arteta was also in the headlines after he was dismissed
at Selhurst Park for denying a goalscoring opportunity to former team-mate Marouane Chamakh. Arteta will now serve a one-match ban in the midweek Capital One Cup clash against Chelsea but with Flamini possibly sidelined through injury, Arsene Wenger may not have the chance to rest Aaron Ramsey for the Blues’ showdown as he prepares for a run of games which also pits the Gunners against Liverpool, Dortmund and United over the space of 12 days from tomorrow evening onwards.

There are no less than 28 players bubbling under, all on the three-card mark. Amongst the new arrivals from Gameweek 9, Tottenham’s Paulinho is the most popular pick with an 11% ownership, while Swansea right-back Angel Rangel (2%) and City centre-half Matija Nastasic (1%) remain differentials.

On a bizarre side note, Ryan Shawcross received his second booking of the season for an altercation with Robin Van Persie during Stoke’s 3-2 loss at Old Trafford. Potters boss Mark Hughes was left bemused after the referee in charge, Lee Mason, followed his captain into the away dressing room in order to dish out a yellow card

“Ryan was booked in the dressing room. The referee made a point of knocking on the door and booking him. I’ve no idea why. He pushed him I think but I’ve no idea because I didn’t see the incident but he wanted to book Ryan. I’ve never known anyone get booked in the dressing room before.”

In terms of bans served, Newcastle will welcome back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to the fold after the centre-half served a one-match ban in yesterday’s derby defeat to Sunderland – with Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor closing in on injury comebacks, he may face a struggle to make an immediate first-team return.

Paul Is certain he won't make the same mistakes next season. Follow them on Twitter

Why bench Southampton defender at all this season? Play them every week.

I made mistake of getting rid of Boruc for Migs 2 weeks ago on wildcard. Regretted it ever since. Fortunately I got Fonte to cover me for Saints defence. He plays every week now regardless of fixture as far as I'm concerned.

I'm glad AVB made my decision easy this week:

    Eriksen > Silva

That fixture was crying out for a player to break Hull down so if he can play Holtby in that game its bye bye. Can't see a Spurs mid returning to my team this season...

Please rate my team for GW 10.

    Mignolet
    Zabaleta Clyne Lovren Ferdinand
    Ozil Brady Oscar
    Lukaku Suarez Aguero

    Daniels Ramsey, Mutch, Dawson

Planning on transferring out Clyne + Ferdinand for Chico + Whitaker come GW 12. So no doubling up on Saints defence once their tough fixtures start.

Is my sub order good to go ?

1 Free Transfer. 0 in the bank

Should I get Suarez in this week by using the FT and a hit - or save the transfer to get him in next week with 2 free transfers?

that is true but also you're gonna want suarez sooner or later so might as well get him .2 cheaper. also we can leave sturridge out of this equation as he already has him. so its really suarez @ arsenal vs. soldado @ everton. myself usually will do transfers immediately if i know i'll want someone long term rather than wait 1-3 weeks after this & this fixture while losing money

        Wonder which way it'll go though;

        A) He relied on being the creative fulcrum to score all his points
        B) The added assists and brilliance of Ozil will present him with more goalscoring/assisting opportunities

I would expect a bit of both. Maybe less assists but more goals which might not be such a bad thing with the new BAPS system. I might take a punt on him when Arsenal's fixtures pick up.

Oscar and Benteke are 7/8 weeks picks based on fixtures.

Both Spurs and Arsenal have 3 to 4 tough fixtures immediately.

You'll make up the hit in max 2 weeks and be set up long term.

Jesus theres alot of good captain options come GW 11 (Chelsea, Benteke, Everton, Pool, Saints, Spurs, City, Michu) compared to GW 10 (UTD, City). May have to do Sturridge - > Aguero.

    Mig/Harper

    Shaw/Murner/Dawson/Toure/Coleman

    Michu/Hazard/Ozil/Ramsey/Brady

    Suarez/Remy/Giroud

Need to get Man City coverage this week - current plan is Ozil >>> Nasri & Giroud >>> Kun for -4. Should I go with that, or play the WC to allow me to keep one of Ozil/Giroud?

I'm definitely keeping Michu for Cardiff (Away), Stoke (Home) and Fulham (Away)

Cardiff and Fulham have conceded the most shots inside the box and outside the box.

              Fair point

But his form isnt that bad just unlucky , they created little yesterday.

The sun game was weird 2 og's , a pen and a scream from de guzman so michu blanking isnt as bad as it appears by scoreline.

If he fails in next 3 i will have doubts on him tbh

    Boruc (Vorm)

    Aguero (C) - Suarez - Sturridge

Kun has the same rotation risk as Rooney and its a minimal risk.

Jovetic and Dzeko are the same threat to kun that Hernandez and welbeck are to Rooney.

If kun was going to be rested it would be prior to Moscow away , he started v west ham.

Pelle is a smart man he rested kun before first cl game and it backfired , he learnt from that.

He was injured before Munich so that wasn't rotation.against villa.

He's citys number 1 striker and will start 99 % of pl games if fit.

    Harper (Migs)
    Clyne, Walker, Chico, (Coleman, Faye)
    Ozil, Michu, Oscar, ravel (Barkley)
    Giroud, Sturridge, Rooney

2FTs and 0.5m in the bank.

Alas I can't do Migs and Rooney to Boruc and Aguero as the money doesn't quite stretch.

Two straight weeks in the 70s, so I know it's a good team.

    What would you do?

    Boruc (Daniels)
    Walker Coleman Shaw (Turner, Chester)
    Ozil Michu Ramsey Januzaj (Brady)
    Suarez Rooney Lukaku

Transfer this week was Migs to Boruc. Have 4.8 Mil in the bank but team has been doing okay (87 points this week but Suarez (c) so not sure that's sustainable) so have been trying to avoid point hits, but obviously that money is wasting away in the bank... Last season was my first season and I took tons of point hits all year so have come back this year the opposite way and tried to avoid them altogether....

Anything in the above worth taking a -4 for this week?
