Ravel Morrison is the latest player to climb atop the Suspension Tightrope after picking up a booking for a challenge on Michu in yesterday’s goalless draw at the Liberty:

The Hammers youngster is one of a quartet of protagonists just a single caution away from a one-match ban; he must avoid another yellow until after January 1 (Gameweek 21) in order to trigger an automatic suspension. The others include Arsenal’s Mathieu Flamini and Villa pair Fabian Delph and Ashley Westwood, though in terms of Fantasy interest, Morrison, with two goals and an assist in the last five league games, is the major concern, with a 5% ownership in the Fantasy Premier League (FPL) game.

Flamini’s potential groin injury, which forced him off after just eight minutes in Saturday’s win at Palace, means he has now gone two appearances without incurring the referee’s wrath, compared to four booking in his first five upon returning to the Emirates.

The Frenchman’s midfield partner Mikel Arteta was also in the headlines after he was dismissed
at Selhurst Park for denying a goalscoring opportunity to former team-mate Marouane Chamakh. Arteta will now serve a one-match ban in the midweek Capital One Cup clash against Chelsea but with Flamini possibly sidelined through injury, Arsene Wenger may not have the chance to rest Aaron Ramsey for the Blues’ showdown as he prepares for a run of games which also pits the Gunners against Liverpool, Dortmund and United over the space of 12 days from tomorrow evening onwards.

There are no less than 28 players bubbling under, all on the three-card mark. Amongst the new arrivals from Gameweek 9, Tottenham’s Paulinho is the most popular pick with an 11% ownership, while Swansea right-back Angel Rangel (2%) and City centre-half Matija Nastasic (1%) remain differentials.

On a bizarre side note, Ryan Shawcross received his second booking of the season for an altercation with Robin Van Persie during Stoke’s 3-2 loss at Old Trafford. Potters boss Mark Hughes was left bemused after the referee in charge, Lee Mason, followed his captain into the away dressing room in order to dish out a yellow card

“Ryan was booked in the dressing room. The referee made a point of knocking on the door and booking him. I’ve no idea why. He pushed him I think but I’ve no idea because I didn’t see the incident but he wanted to book Ryan. I’ve never known anyone get booked in the dressing room before.”

In terms of bans served, Newcastle will welcome back Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to the fold after the centre-half served a one-match ban in yesterday’s derby defeat to Sunderland – with Fabricio Coloccini and Steven Taylor closing in on injury comebacks, he may face a struggle to make an immediate first-team return.

Fantasy football (or fantasy soccer) is a game in which participants assemble an imaginary team of real life footballers and score points based on those players' actual statistical performance or their perceived contribution on the field of play. Usually players are selected from one specific division in a particular country, although there are many variations. The original game was created by Andrew Wainstein in England in 1991, when he set up Fantasy League Ltd after seeing the success of American fantasy sports games in the 1980s. Fantasy football has evolved in recent years from a simple recreational activity into a significant business due to exposure via the internet.

Because they are only doing it for the money. There will be more rubbish teams in the tournament watering down the quality.

He's already ruined Euro 2020 making it 24 teams and being played out throughout Europe.

Not to mention FIFA doing world cup in Qatar, it's just a corrupt cash cow.

I'm aware of all the negatives, but, if you're a fan of European nations keeping their already solid representation, you have to get on board with expansion. If not, European teams will lose places...guaranteed. So, that alternative seems far worse.

I actually think playing the EC across multiple countries is BRILLIANT. Allows more fans to attend in person and doesn't overstress one nation as host.

It will just mean that every person will have to pay £500 for a ticket as the demand will be so high.

Platini chooses to do this after France host Euro 2016, he's just a massive dong.

The Qatari affair was all Blatter though, not Platini. And yes, it's as stupid now as it was then to award it to them. But the FA REALLY has to calm down about moving the WC to winter (which it should be anyway from there on out -- Summer World Cups are dumb...players not in-form being the primary reason). If the NHL can take weeks off in the middle of their season for the Olympics, the EPL can shut down for a month for the WC.

"I totally agree with Mr Blatter that we need more African and Asian (countries). But instead of taking away some European, we have to go to 40 teams in the World Cup.

There's been a mixed reaction to Michel Platini's proposal to increase the number of teams competing in the World Cup from 32 to 40.
"We can add two African, two Asiatic, two American and one from Europe. I support this idea totally."

That looks about right for Platini 32+2+2+2+1=40?

Yeah, i know how many he's scored, I own him. The point i am making is that both he and ozil fixtures are getting tough just as the proposed transfers for aguero and oscar both have great fixtures coming up. Its about knowing good times to mix things up a bit. Imo these are good transfers at a good time.

I get what you're saying. But, Kun and Oscars ownership is half of ozil and lukaku, I know its a bit early to talk about differentials but it could be a great time to make up some tasty points. Lukaku is a beast but Aguero is also on fire atm. Food for thought. I think they are decent transfers.

Silva gonna get a lot of 2pointers this season so stay clear.

Keep sturridge but tey put suarez beside him. They assist each others scores a lot so both usually get returns. Great fixtures coming

Those who believe Aguero is rotation risk must think again. He stared 7 of the 9 EPL games so far. Missed Villa game due to injury and was rested and came on as sub against Stoke.

And those who believe he is not consistent also need to look at stats as he produced attacking returns in 6 of his 7 starts.

City will rest him in midweek, and during next week place in next round of UCL will be all but secured. He will start every game in EPL if fit.

For those who believe Suarez is a rotation risk must think again. He stared 4 of the 9 EPL games so far. Missed the first 5 games due to his biteyness

And those who believe he is not consistent also need to look at stats as he produced attacking returns in 4 of his last 4 starts

Liverpool will rest him in midweek as were out of the cup, and during next week place when were also not in the European cup. He will start every game in EPL if fit.
