  johnson also looks pretty likely for assists these days and is also a goal threat now that his playing RM... id put him on over januzaj.. not for the clean sheet, cos he wont get it.. but possible assist points

    My idea is that if Brady doesn't play then Ramsey will come on for him, also if i play shawcross then i will have my defence playing each other and if they both score then ill get stupid points. Stoke cant keep clean sheets anymore. Then with Coleman I've figured that Tottenham cant seem to score unless its a penalty and Coleman is good for an assist once in awhile.

Alright guys, I have to set my lineup tonight as I'm getting hip surgery tomorrow - the last thing we need is me to sabotage my rank with some ill-advised, narcotics-influenced transfers/lineup changes.

With that said, I've gotta decide who to start before the pressers.

It's between Vidic, Januzaj, and Brady. Would love to have Brady in there if he was going to start but that looks unlikely, same with Januzaj. I feel like Vidic is safest (putting me in a 4-3-3), and he also likely won't come off the bench for a 1-pointer if he doesn't start.

What do you guys think?

      The are a decent young team, the two CBs are beasts, but the turf gave them some problems, and tbh I find the defending quite laughable at times... not just from the Rapids, but mostly all teams...

        Brady has become way to unpredictable. Sell price is 5.1 for me and PP is 5.2. I dropped him this week and picked up Hernadez. I'm going to wait until he actually returns before getting him in the team again.

Being someone thats had suarez from his first game and aguero a week before that... its annoying me that every single transfer in im seeing is involving the two lol. but i must say.. i enjoyed those few weeks of being in the small minority of owners compared to now.. no longer a differential at all.

  Had suarez for his first game as well and captained him for that plus the next 2... then brought in Giroud for Rooney last week (for free) when I saw Fulham score 4 at Palace. Captained Giroud. Transfer costed me 21 bloody points.

I need some serious help! I'm torn between getting in Augero (for Sturridge) and either Sessegnon or Ramsey (for Ozil) for a hit

or

or doing nothing.

      im far from convinced!! i have michu tho. and its more trying to find a differential if he has a few baron games! on the flip side if he continues im in trouble! he will also not get 90 mins all these games and sess will which is another factor. you still think not a glimmer of logic??

    No league. It's my teams third season, set up for good fun and banter, as well as to try to put myself in the shoes of most real life managers who don't have the funds at hand to acquire the big names...finished c. 20, 000 last seasin and have a good start this season (c. 6, 000)...
    
    Thinking Benteke for Sturidge or Lukaku and possibly Brady for Colback...

  wud probably swap Nolan HBA and Siggy for Gerrard Mirlallas Townsend, though not this week. Turner + Collins to Rat n Williams would give you options there. Migs > Boruc/Vorm too

      With Dawson you know the max points you can get in the best case scenario (assuming he doesnt score), with Lukaku you can go over that amount, so now your call on what risk to take

      yeah feel thats a better situation to be in. the cup game went well to suggest townsend plays and can see everton scoring for sure. dawson doesnt provide any attacking threat either.... (cue dawson goal) 😉

  Depends on your view of the score. If you see EVE scoring, then bench Dawson. Anything else, play Dawson.

      The only reason I picked Dawson is because I see the likelihood of him keeping a CS as greater than the likelihood of Townsend getting any attacking returns...
      
      Having Lukaku puts you in an awkward position...

      team is sound. only think it possible lacks is a heavy hitter at the back but the budget options you have are solid. maybe id like migs to vorm and ivan in there.

        I've just never really bought into buying heavy hitter defenders unless they get in on offense for goals/assists since any team is capable of conceding a weak goal at some point (especially in the dying moments of the match)
