Philippe Coutinho is back for Liverpoolโ€™s trip to the Emirates after recovering from a shoulder injury. Robert Snodgrass remains a doubt for Norwichโ€™s visit to City, Pablo Osvaldo may return for Southampton at Stoke, Sam Allardyce expects James Tomkins to take his place against Aston Villa, who have concerns over Gabby Agbonlahor, while Arsene Wenger hopes Mathieu Flamini could be back for next weekend’s trip to Old Trafford:

Chris Hughton has a number of concerns in midfield ahead of Norwichโ€™s trip to City. The Canaries boss will continue to monitor Robert Snodgrass after he was knocked unconscious and stretchered off at United in midweek after a clash of heads. Nathan Redmond is also a doubt after picking up a problem in the same game and Alex Tettey is set to be sidelined for the Etihad clash:

“Weโ€™ll see on Robert, weโ€™ll make sure we make the right decision. We know what the facts are โ€“ he was released late on Tuesday night and heโ€™s fine, but we need to make sure heโ€™s recovered sufficiently. Nathan felt a muscle just above his right hip, so we just have to see how that recovers over the next couple of days. Thereโ€™s a doubt over both of them, but weโ€™re not ruling either of them out. Alex will be out though. He took a whack to an area just above his ankle, and weโ€™ll find out over the next couple of days how long that injury will be but we donโ€™t expect it to be a short time.”

Philippe Coutinho has handed Brendan Rodgers a major boost ahead of Liverpoolโ€™s trip to Arsenal. The Brazilian will return to the squad for the first time since suffering a shoulder injury in Gameweek 4 and could be handed the role in โ€œthe holeโ€ behind Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge, while at the back, Jose Enrique remains a doubt, according to his manager:

“Jose will be a question mark for the weekend, but Coutinho is great. He’s been given the all clear by the specialist to come in. He’s been training for the last few weeks, so he’ll come back into the squad.”

Southampton could be set to welcome back Pablo Osvaldo and Steven Davis for tomorrowโ€™s trip to Stoke. The pair missed out last week, allowing Rickie Lambert and James Ward-Prowse a chance to return to the XI, but Mauricio Pochettino is optimistic they could be ready for the Britannia:

“Osvaldo and Steven Davis are better from last week, but again, they need to be evaluated today and tomorrow and we still need to see if they will be able to travel with us on Saturday.”

Sam Allardyce expects James Tomkins to recover from a knock picked up at Burnley in midweek, though the Hammers boss has revealed Matt Taylor is sidelined for the visit of Villa tomorrow. The recent 4-6-0 formation looks likely to continue as the forward line is hit hard with injuries โ€“ Andy Carroll remains out, Mladen Petric is hampered with a calf complain, Ricardo Vaz Te has suffered a dislocated shoulder, while Carlton Cole is still not fit enough to start a match, as Allardyce revealed to the clubโ€™s official website:

“Matt Taylor is definitely out, James Tomkins I think will be ok and the rest of the injured players will not figure in Saturday’s squad against Villa. It leaves us with quite a big problem in terms of numbers. We’re very short of first team squad players available for Saturday so it’s about getting on with the job and using the players we’ve got available and making sure they try and bring us the three points at home that we’re looking for….He’s (Carlton Cole) not quite ready for a Premier League start. He played on Tuesday night and that’s the equivalent of game three of his pre-season, game three of pre-season for us was Boreham Wood not Burnley away.”

Villa also have concerns for the showdown with Allardyceโ€™s side, though. Paul Lambert rolled out an injury update yesterday afternoon and revealed Antonio Luna is set to be sideline with the hamstring injury that forced him off at the break last weekend โ€“ fellow left-back Joe Bennett is a doubt, though, with Ciaran Clark looking the likeliest to deputise, with Nathan Baker (3.9 in FPL) retaining the slot alongside Ron Vlaar in the heart of defence. Lambert also has concerns over Gabby Agbonlahor, with Aleksandar Tonev perhaps set for a second consecutive start as the visitors look to address a run which has seen them fail to score in the last three:

“Gabby is a doubt. His ankle has not really recovered from when he first got it injured. Antonio is struggling with his hamstring at the minute. He’ll be a few weeks out. Joe Bennett has a sore back at the minute so we’ll see how he is.”

Arsene Wenger reckons Mathieu Flamini could make a quick return from the groin problem sustained against Palace last weekend and is hopeful the central midfielder may be in the frame for next weekโ€™s trip to United. The Gunners boss has ruled youngster Serge Gnabry out of contention to face Liverpool tomorrow evening, though.

Reports in the local press indicate both Robbie Brady and Sone Aluko are rated โ€œless than 50-50โ€ to be fit for Hullโ€™s home game against Sunderland, while Alex Bruce joins Allan McGregor and James Chester on the sidelines for the Tigers.

Alan Pardew has confirmed Fabricio Coloccini is almost certainly out of Newcastleโ€™s home game against Chelsea, while Steven Taylor is believed to have suffered a setback to a hamstring problem and may not return until after the international break. With Paul Dummett also out due to a hamstring injury, the Magpies are down to the bare bone as Chelsea roll up to St Hamesโ€™ Park tomorrow:

“Coloโ€™s running outside. I think Coloโ€™s got a chance for Spurs, but I donโ€™t think heโ€™s got a chance for this weekend. Tayls is a bit further behind.”

West Brom boss Steve Clarke was somewhat non-committal ahead of an enticing home showdown with Palace. The Baggies boss would only by say:

“In terms of availability, our squad will not be too dissimilar to last weekend.”

Fantasy owners of Morgan Amalfitano will be hoping of further insight into his availability after the Frenchman was subbed off in last weekโ€™s defeat by Liverpool โ€“ assistant head-coach Kevin Keen admitted on Wednesday thereโ€™s a chance the right midfielder may not be fit in time for the home clash against Palace, with James Morrison poised to deputise.

Got Ozil in team now, haven't made transfers yet. Thing is my opponent in money league got Suarez,Aguero and Ozil, so would like some differentials.
And he doesn't have Silva and Oscar, or Benteke/Sturridge

Next week, Southampton are home to Hull.
After that, the fixtures are all downhill.
              I have Lovren and Lallana.

I will be selling to G.Johnson and Walcott (assuming he's fit)
              Should I

              A) Keep both Soton players for Hull?
              B) do Lov->G.J (G.J home to Fulham, already have Migs)

Either way, these will very likely be my next moves.
              Just the order that matters.

                  Think I agree.

                  Rival has 3 soton defence.
Its either cover 1/3 of that or go for double Pool to counter it. But I trust Soton defence a lot vs Hull.

The way things have been I'd have more confidence in a CS from Sot-Hul than Liv-Ful.

Do A, it also means that if anything more pressing comes up after GW11 you have 2 free transfers for the international break.

Robby Brady, is it Steve Bruce bluffing or will he genuinely not play?

Don't know if I should keep him in and risk a cameo off the bench or go 4 the back with clyne, rio, terry and Coleman or bring in Barkley off my bench.

Bin him. He's not scoring nearly enough to justify the price tag and there are plenty of prolific strikers just now.

That tweet has made me want to do a four pointer, RvP to Aguero and captain him. Three homes in the next four for MC, three aways in the next four for MU. Anyone else thinking the same?

Hi all, I think im rolling into this weekend with this motley bunch, how's it looking? I'm aware Amalfitano is a concern but I'll start him anyway, vorm over boruc seeing as I have clyne and feel it is a risky double up this week.

              Vorm
              Ivan, Zab, Clyne
              Ozil, Amalfitano, Ramsey, Hernandez
              Rooney (c) Giroud, Studge

              Bench: Boruc, Paulihno, Rosenoir, Dawson

Just drew up this quick wildcard team which needs adjusting .. as my current team listed below is pretty bad.

              Current Team.

              Mignolet/Davis

              Dawson/Terry/Toure/Chester/Turner

              Ozil/Siggy/HBA/Michu/Kim

              Rooney/Lukaku/Giroud

              New draft WC Team.

              Myhill (Boruc)

              Clyne/Terry/Chico (Coleman/Mert)

              Oscar/Ramsay/Lallana (Brady/Barkely)

              Rooney/Lukaku/Aguero

I have 2 FT's so I have to take that into mind when making the decision to WC, but personally I dont think my wc team is anywhere near good enough with to much reliance upon my front three.

Can anyone come up with any suggestions ?

              Baines, Ozil and Lukaku

Can I have some help please. Team is

              Harper
              Coleman Walker Clyne
              Michu Ozil Ramsey Brady
              Aguero Suarez Lukaku

              (Migs Burner Moses Chester)

              0.6 in bank 0FT

With Brady a massive injury doubt and Moses deadwood, should I do

Moses > Ravel (-4) and play him over Brady. Or are there better options. I have 6.6 to spend but I'd rather have some money to upgrade next week.

If you could email Parmtree your planned team by the end of today it would help with the team selection as 4 need benching each week.

              ARSENAL - Team news
Arsenal will have midfielder Mikel Arteta back from a one-match suspension for Saturday's Premier League game against Liverpool at the Emirates Stadium.

Mathieu Flamini remains sidelined with his groin problem, and an ankle injury rules out Serge Gnabry, while Theo Walcott is still recovering from minor abdominal surgery. Yaya Sanogo (back), Lukas Podolski (hamstring), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Abou Diaby (both knee) all also continue their rehabilitation.

Provisional Squad: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs, Arteta, Wilshere, Ramsey, Cazorla, Ozil, Giroud, Fabianski, Vermaelen, Rosicky, Bendtner, Monreal, Jenkinson, Miyaichi.

Tom Cleverley had an awful game against Stoke. He'd keep giving the ball away and chose completely the wrong passes. I'd be surprised if started against Stoke.

I doubt it. He's just a kid, and Moyes said he wants to keep his feet on the ground.

Nani's crossing was good against Stoke, he could pick out Rooney in a crowded box. Kagawa seems to be given a chance on the LW, I think he'll get another game. Ashley Young is also edging toward a start, having played in the cup, and being on the bench against Stoke.

I think Januzaj will be resigned to sub appearances.

Already thinking of Rooney -> Benteke next week. Will depend massively on this week's performances though.
