In the first instalment of a new, weekly article for members, we conduct some in-depth statistical analysis into one of the most crucial aspects in any given Gameweek – just who we entrust with the Fantasy armband. This week the options are plentiful – Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all feature at home, City travel to basement-dwellers Sunderland, while a couple of Belgians are also in the running as clear captain contenders.       184 in total, 18.4 per week.

      Only 2 captain fails in GWs 3 and 5. Rolling off the back of Suarez and Aguero captain in consecutive weeks 😉

      Unfortunately the rest of my team hasn't performed nearly so well, as the captain's score makes up 34% of my total points

    Suarez or Aguero ? Aguero seems the more reliable option. What if Suarez has one of those days where he has plenty of chances but cant score ?

        yup had aguero and zab for a while but im not so sure about hazard / oscar , hazard missing todays game and oscar always a rest risk , whats another option to switch michu out for , cuntinho?

    Sturridge or aguero captain? I'm a blue and I can't decide, if we were both at home it's a no brainer but I'm not sure away. I'm joint top and the other guys got the same two so this decision is crucial!

        Surely can't happen again?! We beat Everton this year anything can happen! I just know I'd kick myself if I didn't pick Sergio and he got a hatrick but Sturridge could easily get a hatrick aswel but is likely to finish 2nd best to Suarez who most people have now.
