Festive rotation and Mark and Granville’s rivalry were among the key discussions taking place amongst the community this week. Elsewhere, veteran poster, Christina, upped his game to deliver a pair of popular hot topics; we take a look back on these, whilst rounding off with our usual focus on the tournaments active in the community.

The Hottest Topics

Just how much rotation will there be during the hectic festive fixture list? Greenwindmill has been offering some crumbs of comfort with his detailed analysis of how the team sheets panned out over winter last season. For a number of sides, in particular Everton and Southampton, he found that rotation was less severe than we expected. The Serjeant has also been looking at festive rotation and in particular to investigate which teams have the most cluttered Christmas.

For those looking to scrape the very darkest depths of the Premier League barrel Christina has been on hand to look at the slender pickings among the worst performing clubs. Jonathan Walters and Dimitar Berbatov are among those ultra-differentials being offered up.

Not sure what they’ve been putting in the water at Christina’s place, but the community verteran has been flying this week, notching up a second hot topic nomination, this time looking ahead to the January Wildcard and the best time to throw it down.

The tussle for supremacy among ScoutCast rivals Mark and Granville has captured the imagination of Just A Hat this week, who wonders if Granville will maintain his mini-league lead. Lateriser12 feels that Granville is set thrash Mark this season, while Tinkerman envisages a miraculous comeback for Mark.

Among those to answer our hot topic about whether Christmas is the season for giving our bench fodder an overhaul, or taking a risk that they won’t be needed was Fratboy, who is seizing the moment to ditch Cardiff’s Jordan Mutch.

Captaining a player in an early Saturday kick off is often seen as the nemesis of any superstitious Fantasy Football manager. Luckily Nice To Finally Michu was on hand to run roughshod over this old wives tale. His analysis of captain options in the early games this season so far show that whether a player starts at 12:45pm or 3pm makes no difference to their chances of racking up a respectable points haul. I also dropped my monkey’s foot in surprise.

The Community Leagues

Thomass67 tells us he is launching a doubles ‘Big Bash League’ shortly. For more information and to register ahead of the November 29 deadline click here.

TorresMagic’s Last Man Standing lost another 32 managers this week leaving 586 left. Myo Min Thant leads seeding for the FPL Open and Beric leads for the Elite 64 competition. More details can be found here.

Meanwhile the FFS UEFA FA Cup Tournament is underway this weekend. A review of last week’s stage and the latest on this week’s can be seen here.

    Dawson Nastasic Santon
    Ozil Coutinho RavMo Barkley
    Lukaku Suarez Aguero(c)
    Subs: 4.0, Lallana, Clyne, Faye

Is it worth spending -4 to get either de Gea or Dawson out now? Considering it with future games coming up, think Dawson will be on the verge of being left out for Spurs after today.

Repost, at the end of last page..

Hey folks, hope your week score has been good, I can't say the same...

Maybe I'll do RVP to Aguero before the price rise again tonight… is this a wise move?

2ft and 0,4 Itb, what do you think? With the other FT maybe I’ll go Paulinho to Wally or Oscar, don’t know yet.
    This would leave me with:

    Ramsey-Walcott/Oscar-Amalfitano-Arnautovic-Ravel Morrison
    Aguero-Suarez-Lukaku

I know, no Man Utd cover…

Coutinho will start delivering I feel. Got him in for GW 12 myself, he's going to get consistent again.

You should download Sofa Score, handy to keep up to date with results and shit. It has highlights of goals too.

I have 2ft and probably will do RVP>>Aguero and Paulinho>>Oscar or Wally.

I'd say 1st prority should be to get Aguero.
