Fantasy Football Scout is delighted to announce a number of new recruits as part of a handful of changes taking place across the production, editorial and community management sides of the site.

First up, Demi has joined us as our team news correspondent. He has been an outstanding contributor to the site for a number of years, most notably with his swift and reliable match day line up posts. Given his experience we thought it was about time we invited him to get more involved with the site and take over our team news section. He’ll also be penning most of our weekly team news articles, ensuring that the community is kept notified of the latest press conference and team developments – in addition he will be continuing to keep us updated of the very latest line up news as they are announced on match days.

We have also appointed our first production editor Tim K, who will be on hand to take on sub-editing duties. Tim will be checking that we dot our i’s and cross our t’s in the correct manner before the articles are published.

Somewhat belatedly, we want to formally introduce another new recruit on the editorial side, Roscola. As many of you will have already noticed, he has already done a sterling job in his role as our resident crystal ball gazer in charge of the Frisking the Fixtures articles, and is also a member of the moderation team.

In addition, one of our moderating team members Green Windmill has kindly taken on an extra role helping tweak the Watchlist each week. His Watchlist research behind the scenes each week has already proved invaluable and we are pleased he has agreed to help out on a more formal basis.

Finally, from next week I’ll be taking on the newly created role of  managing editor,  helping Mark and Paul out with some of the behind the scenes running of the site as well as continuing to manage community issues.

I trust you will join us in welcoming our new recruits. We also hope to announce further additions to the team in due course.

For more details about those working behind the scenes at Fantasy Football Scout visit our recently updated  Meet The Team page.

    A or B below please. 😀

    Migs
    Rosenior - Ivanovic - Baker
    Oscar - Ozil - Ravel - Barkley
    Rooney - Aguero - Suarez

    4.0 4.0 4.0 Routledge 1FT £0.1m

A ---> 4.0 & Routledge >>> Flanagan & Redmond (good fixtures, likely to get a run due to inj)

    B ---> Ozil & Routledge >>> Coutinho & Cabaye

Routledge is just such a burden right now. I like the Flan/Red idea. They could turn into burdens too, but there is risk for reward there. Feeling it.

Please shoot me down / answer none of the above with an improvement! 😀

What happens if the construction contract was issued to the sub-contractor at the start of the job, but he didnt sign it & now that the job is finished on-site, a dispute has arisen?

            Is that un-signed contract effective?

Or does the state law come into effect instead?

Is an unsigned contract ever effective?

Well, some results on google are telling me that if you proceed to perform with the contract, you are accepting the terms & conditions, even if it isnt signed.

Firstly, I have to advise you to get paid legal advice.

After that, what your saying is an oral agreement was made but a contract remained unsigned? And now there are issues with the work done?

They asked us to tender for a project. We did. They issued a contract, based on our tender. Now their is a dispute about the scope of works. Some work was not detailed to us at tender stage, but it was in their contract, which we only got in the post 1 month after we started on-site.

So we are saying it is a variation, they say it's in the contract.

We say we never signed that contract & that particular detail was not included in the tender documents.

If the detail was never disclosed, the contract can't even be said to be implied. The onus would be on them to show that it was.

I am pretty sure they cant do that.

                    We should be ok then.

Thanks, I appreciate you taking the time to help me 🙂

If the sub contractor has carried out the work without being in receipt of a formal instruction then has done so at his own risk.

Well, we issued a CVI to them. So it should be their responsibility to dispute that within a reasonable time frame.

They are only disputing it 4 months later, after paying for it throughout the duration of the project.

Seems to me they're trying it on

Any post tender amendments need to be clearly demonstrated within the contract and agreed upon. You can't instruct works and then try sneak something in

If the additional SOW was highlighted and agreed upon prior to carrying the works then you have not acted unreasonably.

Sayimg that Problem with these situations is the relationship with the client so you may want to do deal

                  Good luck in resolving

Former Wales and Swansea winger Leighton James:

"That's not good news for Swansea, especially with Michu not yet seeming to be recovered. It's not what they need at all, he pulled up very quickly and from experience that is like being shot in the leg."

I didnt know he had been shot in the leg!!!!!!

Other than they have a lot of CBs, is there any reason to think Pulis won't continue with Gabbidon?

Just curious why Ward was the chosen Palace defender in the watchlist, when Gabbidon has more goal threat & bonus potential.

Probably becuase hes the safer option, is close to Gabbidon on Bps and although not this season so far- he has more goals/assist than Gabbidon over his carear i beleive.

Yeah but career wise he used to play in central midfield for Pompey, so it skews it.

    Wilson --> Gabbidon

    A good move?

Fixtures for cpl are sweet, Pulis is a defensive wizard, he's dirt cheap.

    It's obviously for free...

I'm going there, as part of a 3x1 rotation with Burner & Clyne. Lovely fixtures up to GW 24.

Begs the question then...How will Swans line up in the PL if f Bony is out for a while.

I swapped him out for Krul this week if that helps? Dunno if I'd do it for a hit though.

Hats off to the person who posted it, How the hell did he manage to find the intelligent ones, We've been having to deal with that attitude for years up in Scotland. What we should be voting for in Scotland is independence from Govan.

Just discovered Arnie is injured so I’ve swapped him for Morrison, this is what my current team looks like:
    Migs
    Chico Zaba Rat
    Morrison Sess. Ramsey Oscar
    Aguero (c) Suarez Rooney
Bench: 4.0 keeper, Delph, Chester, Brayford

This team is looking like a real mess to me right now, is it worth trading out one of my non playing defenders for a hit? 0.7 in the bank. Thanks for any advice 🙂
