We’re banking on a couple of in-form Belgian midfielders with an eye for goal and a certain South American to help us get one over Paddy Power this weekend. All three have found a place in this week’s Scout Picks as we put our money where our mouth is for Gameweek 13.

Our first stop is at the Bridge, where Chelsea welcome Southampton in one of Sunday’s late kick-offs. Paddy are offering 11/2 on an Eden Hazard goal and Chelsea to keep a clean sheet and that’s enough to persuade us to part with £4 of this week’s tenner. Jose is talking rotation but after handing the former Lille man a sub role against Basel during the week, he looks set to bring Hazard back into the starting lineup – Hazard has scored in each of his last two home appearances and faces a Saints side with four away goals all season.

We move to Goodison next, where Paddy have dangled odds of 5/1 on a Kevin Mirallas goal and Everton shut-out against Stoke. Mirallas has notched in two of the last three in front of the Everton faithful and looks in form after a goal and assist against Liverpool last weekend – with Stoke hit by injuries, the Toffees will be looking for a fourth clean sheet in five and tempt us to throw another couple of quid Paddy’s way.

We keep our last £4 for the Etihad, where Manuel Pellegrini’s side welcome Swansea. Paddy’s offer of 11/2 on Sergio Aguero to score twice and City to keep a clean sheet looks too ignore to ignore here – the Argentine has bagged a brace in three of his last seven starts, while City have shipped just two goals at home all season. With Michu still sidelined and Wilfried Bony joining him in the treatment room, Pellegrini’s side look a strong shout to record another Etihad shout-out.

Register and Bet £10 And Get £20 Free

If you’re new to Paddy Power, then you can take up any of these odds and get yourself a bonus. You can sign up on via this site and get a free £20 when you register an account and bet a tenner.

Finally, of course, we should state that all these offers are only available to those aged 18 and over and are subject to Paddy Power’s terms and conditions. Also, if you’re going to bet, always gamble responsibly.

Must admit, that transfer looks tempting. If it left 0.2m in the bank or so, then you could sway Gerrard to Walcott / Silva when you fancied.

    Why you should captain Suarez..

    1) Aguero is due a home fail
    2) Suarez gets 90 mins, Aguero may get 59
    3) Aguero gets injured, Suarez only pretends to
    4) Suarez takes fk's and they are more common than peno's
    5) Sturridge will be replaced by someone who will pass to Suarez
    6) Suarez is live on Sky 🙂

Will it matter much? Let's say:

Aguero - 5 pts (just an assist + 60 mins)
      Suarez - 8 pts (goal + 90 mins + 2 baps)

      Captain Aguero = 18 pts
      Captain Suarez = 21 pts

Not worth losing a year of your life stressing over 🙂

I've got so much in the bank for Walcott. Thing is, with the next deadline being so close - I'm not convinced he'll start the next one even if he does start today. Am I better off just getting Gerrard in for Whittingham for the hit and then switching to Walcott when we come out the other side of these fixtures? Or even just getting Wally now on the basis that he's going to get SOME gametime?

Those expecting Hull keeping Liverpool quiet because they have been tight at home - Hulls opponents haven't exactly been any good

NOR CAR WHU AVL SUN CRY

Not exactly the who's who list of EPL attacking talent. First real home test of the season this. Should be a good game.

I think 3 weeks is enough rest for a groin strain.

RVP I think was saved for Spurs and was not played midweek as United can't afford to drop any more points after what happened in Cardiff.

        Undecided on Captain.

Sneaky feeling for a Spurs shut out but Clyne more attacking threat ....have you a third option ?

I have both too but benching both or else transfering Dawson if I can get a worth while replacement

it's these games people tend to screw up their captaincy. stoke at home yeah you'd think he'd score big but remeber hull at home? he scored 2 v liverpool last week. just worried that he'll miss a few chances today. sorry

I think he may start. Play 65-70 mins. Benched midweek as they will be at home and then start regularly. Wenger doesn't rush in injured players.

    Hazard,Brady,Ozil,Ramsey
    Suarez,Lukaku,Aguero(C)

    B: Boruc,Januzaj,Clyne,BTurner

Armband q: Currently on Aguero but I am fearing a rest of some sort (withdrawn at hald, start on bench):
    1. Lukaku - Stoke at home with injured D. He did disappoint though against weaker teams (CP, Hull)
    2. Suarez - Sturridge injury means focus is on Suarez, but Hull are not easy at home
    3. Hazard - Chelsea are waiting to explode, S'ton have the D though
