The Dugout Discussion – Sunday

8 December 2013 3528 comments

Share:

The Gameweek continues with a pair of Sunday afternoon kick-offs, beginning with Fulham’s clash with Villa at the Cottage, in just a few minutes. Following on from that, two form sides clash at the Emirates as leaders Arsenal look for their seventh home victory of the season against an Everton outfit fresh from their midweek win at Old Trafford.

While those two teams are looking to extend a superb spell of results, Rene Meulensteen’s Fulham are desperately seeking to end a run of six consecutive defeats against Paul Lambert’s inconsistent Villa: they will arrive in West London unbeaten in their last four road trips in the league and boosted by the midweek win at St Mary’s.

Look to our Twitter feed for the latest news on today’s teamsheets as it breaks, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is now open and will remain so throughout today’s matches, up until the final whistle at the Emirates.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

          I don't bother with TotalFPL I just use the FPL page but I think he'll be getting plenty of new owners over the next couple of weeks 🙂

    How's this look? Weak in defence but immense mid/attack!

    Mignolet (Davis)
    Coleman, Williams, Ward (MOlsson, Chester)
    Ozil, Hazard, Ramsey, Nasri (Pozuelo)
    Rooney, Suarez, Aguero

    To get in hazard, I need to swap gerrard and do another transfer.

    A. Nasri --> 7.7m midfielder, thinking lampard or mirallas
    B. zabaleta --> Dawson
    C. Williams --> vlaar/ward
    D. Mignolet --> krul

    I have 2 ft though, and won't be doing this til after champions league

    The rest of my team is

    Marshall
    Coleman Koscielny Chester
    Ramsey Morrison jwp
    Rooney aguero Suarez

    Arsenal fans I guess overall happy to take a point from the game. I think Everton deserved something for the 1st half display alone but 2nd half still they played a good game

    A point is a fair result, won't face many tougher tests

      If he gets the assist its because he touched it when Giroud didn't. Looking at the replays its hardly conclusive so why there are hundreds of posts arguing about it is beyond me.
