A number of midfielders are placed under the spotlight, with Arsenal, City, Chelsea and Liverpool all serving up some strong statistics. The performance of United’s frontmen at Villa and Tottenham’s inability to find the net under the now-departed Andre Boas-Villa also come under analysis as we delve into the data.

"Henderson’s touches in the final third were also down by over 100%"
Some interesting maths there 🙂Open Controls -
They should replace the Captain's poll with "Who should i replace Aguero with?"
Far more useful for this weekOpen Controls-
Agreed.
If people don't captain Suarez this week they shouldn't bother with FPL.Open Controls-
As long as he is fit, I will probably captain Suarez until the final curtain falls on gameweek 38.

If people did not have the aptitude of picking a replacement themselves.... then they should;t be playing FPL.

Last on first page :(...
Evening lads!
Please help me out with this lot:
1FT, 0.7£
Begovic (Myhill)
Ward Shaw Coleman (Terry, Rat)
Bacuna Brunt Hazard Ramsey Whittingham
Rooney Suarez(C) (Aguero)
Was thinking:
1. Agüero + Brunt -> Negredo + Nasri - 4p (exact amount)
2. Agüero -> Negredo (not hit)
3. Other suggestion?
Cheers!Open Controls -
Just about to make my transfers.Would you rather have:
A) Roo + Silva + Williamson
B) Roo + Wally + Williamson
C) Neg + Wally + Zaba
D) Neg + Silva + ZabaletaOpen Controls-

ful LIV CPL swa new CAR
Not too bad for a team who can score for funOpen Controls-
Exactly my point. MCI can't keep a clean sheet, but they sure can score
Open Controls-
True - but Zabaletta will come good. I'd prefer to have at least 2 MCI players personally.

The signs weren't great against Arsenal, but with Kompany back I can't see them doing anything but bossing things from here.
Open Controls-
Kompany only has 1 clean sheet from 8 appearances this season. I'm not sure you can rely on him to suddenly turn them into a defensive rock, not the way Pellegrini plays.

Average of how many minutes it takes city players to get 1 point:
Yaya - 14.1
Silva - 12.9
Nasri - 14.6
According to this Silva is the best option but is it worth the money over Nasri. Will they play a 4-5-1 with Silva behind Negredo/Dzeko?Open Controls -
Hard to see Newcastle conceding in the next two
Williamson?Open Controls-
Newcastle are notoriously unreliable
Clean sheets v United, Chelsea and Spurs, but then conceded v Norwich and West Brom.Open Controls

Lol Remy and Aguero going down tonight. Any point in doing Aguero > Remy now?
Open Controls -
Well Robbie Fowler is no Zep/4Vets when it comes to Photoshop 😀

I want to bring in Ward and Silva next GW... any chance they both will not rise more than 0.1m between today and Saturday???
Open Controls -
Just one other question, if I have Zabaleta and Silva, is it worth avoiding Negredo and going Lukaku instead? Leaning toward Negredo myself?
Open Controls-
Not sure, as amazing the fixtures and Everton look, I feel I would be a fool to ignore a City striker.

278 shots from Spurs, just proves some stats mean jack.
What a terrible attack, terrible. 17 goals from Suarez, 15 from Spurs, yuck.Open Controls -
I can do Aguero, Janujaz & Terry > Rooney, Silva & Ward for 4pts if I move tonight.
That'd leave me with
Howard
Mert, Coleman, Ward
Hazard, Ozil, Silva, Ramsey
Rooney, Lukaku, Suarez
Subs: Price, Bannan, Chester, Burner.
Aside from Silva's 4 yellows, is there a downside?Open Controls-

Go for it...

Decided to go Rooney over Negredo just for piece of mind. City will rotate and without aguero, goals are evenly spread anyway. Rooney on the other hand has a hand in anything utd does.
Open Controls-
didn't happen yesterday though
Open Controls -
Negredo could give the same returns as Rooney and still enable you to have high price midfield...
Open Controls-
I'd worry more about not having Rooney for Man Us fixture than Negredo for theirs. I can also get a choice of Man City midfielders but no one from Man U in their midfield is attractive. Negredo is also not as nailed on as Rooney.
No competition IMHO.Open Controls

Why isn't Dawson flagged misses the Southampton match due to suspension from 5 yc's

Rest of team:

Has anybody got the next 8-10 weeks fixtures in an excel or PDF format that I can use to set up my own Season Ticker? 🙂
Please 🙂Open Controls -
Settled on Aguero to Rooney
Shipping Brady for a hit
A) for Walcott (have no other arsenal lol)
B) for Silva (have Nasri)Open Controls -
@Nate
Can you afford Rafael?Open Controls-
Yes, i can afford anyone i want. Isn't Smalling a threat? Even Jones' played there hasn't he?
Open Controls-
Smalling and Jones are both awful there though.
Open Controls -
They both have but Rafael has been injured. If you notice he was subbed off early v Everton and Newcastle as Moyes was easing him back in. Smalling was fit v Villa but Rafael still started and played 90. He was so attacking and was unlucky not to get an assist.
Have you watched Smalling play rb? He lacks the pace, positional sense or crossing ability to ever truly threaten Rafa in that position, it's like Kos being a threat to Sagna.
I am getting Evans as i only have 5.3, but if I had the money I'd definitely get Rafa above any of other defendersOpen Controls

What do you guys think of Brady + Giroud > Wally + Hooper/Remy/J. Rod?
Open Controls-
Wally and Hooper.
Open Controls

Who are people switching Aguero to?
Open Controls-
-
Yeah, the most obvious choice would be Lukaku, but it's also the most boring choice...
Got Negeredo and Rodriguez under consideration tooOpen Controls

Im thinking Aguero > Negredo (I have Luka and Suarez). I can then upgrade mirallas/Nasri to Walcott (I have Ramsey), any thoughts guys???

Yay or Nay?Open Controls -
aguero and ravel>negredo and mirallas done! feck you rooney! 😉
Open Controls -
Terry to Evans as part of a -8, that's how i roll.
It seems madness, but it's needed as without it i can't afford to do Brady to Walcott.Open Controls-
Decided to not bother with Walcott til GW 19 at the earliest. Not worth it against CHE or new away.
Open Controls-

Points are more important than price.
Open Controls-
I think it depends on who you are selling
I am shipping Brady as I can't rely on him, and JWP is bench fodder at bestOpen Controls -
People panicking, Theo not on first page on FPL so unlikely to rise. The sheep see each other doing it now then go and waste -4 ROFL! Not essential at all this week. Silva much better option.

Well, Rooney as a differential is well and truly gone...

is it best to ignore coverage and focus on individual scorers or is a triple arsenal midfield too much??
