Yes, we know this week’s battle for the armband is done and dusted. With 86% of the votes cast, Luis Suarez is the undisputable favourite as Liverpool prepare for the visit of Cardiff on Saturday. The Uruguayan is hunting his fifth successive double-figure haul at Anfield and it’ll be a brave, or perhaps desperate, Fantasy manager who goes against the grain. Once again, our midweek regular for members sifts through the statistics to ascertain whether there really is anyone else worth considering:

Deadweight in Giroud and Sess. No real replacement for Sess at his price range so I'm going for a powerful midfield.
Anything you'd change?
Thanks 🙂
This week:
Giroud -> Negredo
Next week:
GJ -> Williamson
Week after:
Ozil -> Wally
Sess -> SilvaOpen Controls-

I know (and I was going to write that) but I'd have 1.8m in the bank of the Negredo transfer and I reckon Silva will be a good bandwagon.

Thanks TW.
Are you going double City in attack too?Open Controls-
looking for this to be my front 8 in 2-3 weeks time
haz silva walcott ramsey ravel/januzaj/sterling
suarez negredo lukakuOpen Controls-
Have 6/8. Not sure if I want both Walcott and Ramsey so might just stick with Ramsey for now. Have Coutinho instead of Walcott and trying to free funds for Remy to Negredo gw19. Or else it will be Remy to dzeko
Open Controls -
Haha well that's good news cause that's virtually my plan bar Hazard (Oscar instead).
Just need Silva and Wally 🙂Open Controls

GJ has very nice fixtures after the two tough away games. Thinking of getting rid of him myself but can see him picking up points.
Open Controls-
I agree myself, I just can't really justify benching him for 2 games however.
Plus, have a look at Liverpool's CS history. Not like they're convincing.

I don't want to many Arsenal players really I could also do Nasri or Hazard for my cash
Open Controls-
I think wally and ramsey is a good amount of arsenal players
haz walcott silva ramsey is the template midfield i'm shooting for fwiw.Open Controls

Iv been weighing this up in my head too seems wrong though

Ramsey is still great value and is owned by so many ..

No! This move needs to be looked at for several games yet imo Cheeseoid.

Yeah I think around 1.40/45

Just over 20 mins from now

Heard you are the bookies favorite for the west brom manager post.

If you are making a change TW, get it done. No point in waiting. About 01.45 recently.

Just realised I have had 4 red arrows in a row. I think we can officially call it a rot now. Can anyone beat that? Bring on jan WC.
Open Controls-
Thank you for waiting until after Beach Soccer season to tank. 😉
Open Controls-
Amazing back to back victories for you!
Open Controls -
I think I broke my team trying to get one more game out of the squad each week to keep us marching. Shelvey ffs!
Open Controls-
I broke mine the week of the finals and didn't even put myself in the lineup. At least I'm finally getting Rooney back in my squad this weekend. My luck's about to change.
Open Controls-
That is true dedication Shadow! You sure about Rooney this week? I have him and certainly not trading him out but the mid week "injury" and dropping deep last match are all concern factors that would potentially prevent me from bringing him in and the money saved could give you an extra premium MF at a time it feels they are starting to come good

so its just me then!

Morning Guys!
This comment by Moyes..what to make of it?
"He has got a chance," replied the boss when asked about thelikelihood of his centre-forward being involved at the weekend.Open Controls-
Can you link the story? We can evaluate it in context.
Open Controls-
Open Controls

When asked in a post match interview if he would feature against West Ham Moyes replied "we hope so, yes". Make of that what you will
Open Controls -
Missed West Ham at home, back for Hull away?
Open Controls -
Open Controls
-
I think we make of it that we are never going to learn more from Moyes than we know already. In terms of what to do with Rooney, IMO keep him if you have him and look elsewhere for your Aguero replacement if you don't
Open Controls
-
-
Seriously monitoring dzeko next two weeks! Definitely considering a short term punt on him for GW 19 home to palace.
Open Controls -
So is Zabaleta defo out now for the weekend ?
Who's the best replacement Rafael or Kolarov?Open Controls -
I already know my January WC team
Its such a thing of beauty.Open Controls-
Same, I like it so much I almost considered using my other WC just to hurry up and get there

Aguero to Negredo
Is this what most are doing now? What do you guys think of it. Haven't been on here in a while.
Anyone fancy Welbeck or Dzeko?Open Controls-
or maybe Rooney.
Have Suarez Aguero and Lukaku ATMOpen Controls-
those were my three and I went negredo. means next week I can do GJ to ward or chester and then upgrade either ravel or januzaj to walcott
Open Controls
-
-
-
Is Rooney not a doubt now? Doesn't seem wise to bring him in
Open Controls
-
-
Berbatov is the flair choice.
I went with LukakuOpen Controls

Anyone know the news on Shawcross?
Open Controls -
So rooney got injured? I as thinking of choosing him as my captain this week. Guess its back to crowd favorite Saurez then.
Open Controls-

As a differential lol 🙂 Got a feeling he's gonna tear westham apart
Open Controls

Guys, Gerrard FT to:
A) Silva
B) Walcott
and why?
Front 8:
Gerrard Hazard Ramsey Yaya R.Morrison
Suarez Rooney Lukaku
I'm leaning towards Silva as think he will play further up to support negredo for what its worth. CheersOpen Controls-
I'd probably go Walcott in your case. Owning Walcott and Ramsey is much cheaper than Yaya and Silva.
Open Controls-
True, but I'm not too concerned about price, just who will score better? Walcott has a nice run after next game, but he is so inconsistent!
Open Controls-
That's a bit harsh. Fair enough he only got 2 assist in the first 4 games but he was injured then and did not need to be rushed back. 14 goals and 13 assists last season is quite consistent!
Open Controls
-
-
-

With aguero and Rooney out, thoughts on a 352 with Suarez and lukaku up front?
Open Controls-
Ozil / Walcott, Hazard, Silva, Ramsey and X
Is X better than Negredo is the question to answer. Who is your X?Open Controls -
Not out of the question but depends who your midfielders are really. Particularly the 5th mid vs your potential 3rd striker. I think I'd punt on Berbatov ahead of playing a 3-5-2 at the moment.
Open Controls -
IF Roo is also out nearly every team will own Suarez and Lukaku so your 5th mid is going to have to produce better than other teams 3rd striker
Open Controls -
-
Huh? Where?
Open Controls
-
-
-
Sess to Walcott for a hit this week, or wait until next week? Have Ramsey, Hazard, Fer, and Ward-Prowse as other mids...
Cheers!Open Controls -

Cout is just unlucky at the momment. The last game he actually hit the cross bar and have plenty of key passes.
Looking forward to him scoring big next week 🙂Open Controls

I just read a report that moyes said "He has got a chance, yes." when asked about Rooney starting against West Ham
Open Controls-
Open Controls
-
Yeah he has a groin issue. In some reports he says Rooney is likely to start and in other like that vid it sounds like he is less likely to start.
Open Controls-
I think " we hope so yes" sounds positive actually. IMO he will play, Moyes did not want to risk aggravating his "niggles" on a shite miserable night against a physical Stoke..
Open Controls-
Yeah imo it sounds more positive then negative and he will play. The games are to important now for Man U to be without Rooney and RVP. I didn't -4 or -8 to get him in this week as I have had him for a while but it sucks either way when 11$ is sitting on the bench.

Has there been any official word on Koscielny's injury? I have the luxury of waiting until Friday without any adverse price effects. But with Arsenal playing on Monday, will their be a Friday briefing?
Koscielny & JWP -> Ward & Walcott (-4).Open Controls-
*there.
Shameful. I blame auto-correct.Open Controls -
Those transfers do look v nice. I'm going through the steps of downgrading to cheap defence myself at the moment to upgrade elsewhere
Open Controls-
It's funny. I played the wildcard in gw3, getting a bunch of "big" defenders, but I've slowly reverted back to the cheapo defence. After the transfers, I'll have Chester, Ward and Burner. I tell myself that if it does not work out, the next wildcard is just around the corner.
Open Controls-
I did similar. It stopped me affording SAR and effected my rank. Clean sheets are getting scarce and hard to predict anyway with the lower teams producing them as much as the big so if your paying for a higher priced defender it's more so for attacking threat in the likes of Coleman, Mert etc rather than cs potential. I think uber defence until WC is the way to go
Open Controls
-
-
-
Don't know the latest on Kosc's injury but those transfers look great!
Open Controls-
Thanks for the vote of confidence!

Spurs have some decent fixtures coming.Do you think a differential may be found there despite everything. Soldado has potential
Open Controls-
Adebayor anyone? Lol
Open Controls-
Lol
Open Controls
-
-
-
Right now I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole.
But in January, if things are looking brighter, and if the template forwards are misfiring, then sure.
I've watched Soldado's price fall crazily over the last couple of months. He could be a bargain if Spurs turn things around.Open Controls
-
-
Agüero currently has a net of +2 transfers in. I have some bad news, you two...
Open Controls-
Pretty sure that's just inconsistency in resetting daily NTI to zero.
Open Controls

-
Morning all. 🙂
This Rooney news isn't great. 🙁Open Controls-
I think he will play. I am pretty good at calling these things.
Open Controls -
I think it's just Moyes being Moyes. But who knows.
This is where you need a good bench.Open Controls -
Good morning TM.
You made an early transfer on Roo?Open Controls

Will Chelsea defence be more worthwhile now following Mourinho's threat to "park the bus"?

So If I got Chamakh as the Aguero replacement I could of had this midfield
Yaya
Silva
Walcott
Ramsey
Oscar
And still Have Rooney and Suarez up front.
Good or meaningless?Open Controls-
i got think of sth similar..if there is doubling up tt i will do it will be ars and city. good luck to u
Open Controls -
Good enough, just keep playing the same front 7 all week
I have similar at
Hazard Silva Walcott Cout Ravel
Lukaku Rooney Saurez
So I will keep playing the same 7 with Ravel as my subOpen Controls

RMT /10 -- 0 FT -- 2.0 In the Bank
Vorm -- Boruc
Ward Chester Terry -- Williams Clyne
Walcott(VC) Ramsey Fer Hazard -- RavMor
Suarez(C) Rooney LukakuOpen Controls-
It really depends on Rooney starting. Without him, your team looks a bit thin. Lukaku could do well, but he's up against your keeper. You have Walcott & Ramsey against Terry, too, further lowering your max point total.
Not too good for this week, I'm afraid. But overall I think its a good team to get you to January.Open Controls
-
-
Seeing that Zabaleta had severe pain in his hamstring i think it is safe to assume that its a grade two hamstring with a recovery period of a minimum 4-6 weeks.
Open Controls-
Everyone is a physiotherapist, now?
All I know about hamstring injuries is that they tend to be tricky - better to avoid returning too soon.Open Controls

Walker - got to ditch him even with the decent fixtures?
last few weeks; 9, 8, 2, -1
Next gws: sot, WBA, STO, mun, CPL, swa
my current def: Walker,Gabbidon,Davies,Debuchy,Coleman

who do i go for?
a) keep Walker
b) merts
c) Jagielka (double everton df)
d) other?Open Controls
