The Christmas Day message and, while it’s fitting for me to announce my own personal Fantasy Football “Annus horribilis”, this is a day for all Fantasy managers to put red and green arrows to one side, embrace the distractions of family and friends and return fresh on Boxing Day.

Having said that, typically, we’re not putting our slippered feet up just yet. Over the course of the day we’ll bring you the second part of Frisking the Fixtures from Roscola, while Paul and I will deliver the Boxing Day Scout Picks and “Differentials”.

So, Merry Christmas to you and your family from Fantasy Football Scout but be sure to sneak away to get yourself fully prepared for tomorrow when, through a Baileys and mincemeat haze, the Gameweek action will resume.

  I could say something corny like you are never alone in the FFS community.

  Got a knock against Swansea, apparently. I'm always optimistic with knocks, because they can't be aggravated. Either you can play through the pain, or you can't. And considering Distin completed the 90 against Swansea, I'd expect him to play.

  Don't like B or C to be quite honest. A is guesswork ..... Hazard has a good fixture - or comparable to Silva's at least. I would advise saving your transfer or ship out someone who is not an asset to your team. Sorry to be so negative.

    Main worry with taking a hit is that he's 1 yellow from suspension. Would be gutted if he got suspended for Palace.
