Merry Christmas from Fantasy Football Scout

The Christmas Day message and, while it’s fitting for me to announce my own personal Fantasy Football “Annus horribilis”, this is a day for all Fantasy managers to put red and green arrows to one side, embrace the distractions of family and friends and return fresh on Boxing Day.

Having said that, typically, we’re not putting our slippered feet up just yet. Over the course of the day we’ll bring you the second part of Frisking the Fixtures from Roscola, while Paul and I will deliver the Boxing Day Scout Picks and “Differentials”.

So, Merry Christmas to you and your family from Fantasy Football Scout but be sure to sneak away to get yourself fully prepared for tomorrow when, through a Baileys and mincemeat haze, the Gameweek action will resume.

      Upgrade in defence because the rest of the team looks fine.

      Clyne/Baker for Burner or NOR/CPL.

      Baker may not play and won't be first choice, so needs to go. Clyne could be replaced by Debuchy or Evans. Cowie to Barkley or Januzaj or Whittingham would be a step up. I'd also play with a second keeper!

      Has to be Suarez. Form over fixtures. Liverpool providing plenty of service to him and BR and pellegrini like to play attacking football. United still playing very static football + Hull strong at home.
