As a Man U fan I'd like to be able to celebrate some of their goals without it hurting my FPL team. Ade is a good shout though and doesn't have the shadow of RVP looming over him.

The Everton Duble scares me as the failed to keep many when they had amazing fixtures but I guess you have Baines for the FKs(which he shares now) and Pens. Kompany is a nice call and wish I could afford 3.9 = Chester.
having a 4.4 and Gnabry rotating is prob gonna hurt you as G isn't even close to nailed even with Walcott out and no 4.4 has good upside as a rotation option.
Solid strikers though Giroud will make you wanna cry some days so be ready for that. I would pick Ade/Welbeck/ Sturridge before I went there personally but I don't rate him as a finisher though he will get a good amount of chances and varience could go your way.
Who are you going to get for 4.4 in mid? Frontline is good, I would like all my mids as certs to play I reckon your 4.4 prob won't and Gnabry is a gamble too. Probably better options than Wed Brown to. Kompany is expensive for what he does I would get someone a bit cheaper and spend the money elsewhere. I know others are doig it but I wouldn't double up on Coleman and Baines, Coleman is enough.
Thanks for the replies -- just trying to figure out if I can get away with rotating two cheap defs and two cheap mids in one spot based on fixtures, though a ubercheap mid might not be that helped by an easier fixture as they'll likely be CDM/holding.
Downgrading Baines is the obvious move -- if Ramsey is fit soon he seems the clear choice for a swap, since Ramsey in form + Bardsley is much better than Baines plus Scott Parker.

Ozil has the best stats of the options but Gerrard is prob the best combo of stats and differential. I'd go wit Ozil though.

There's 3 similarly priced player I put there. And those 3 are the main target people willing to downgrade to shave the 2m.

Man to man to man between those player, I fancy Baines to do best out of those lot.
And I know puttng both Coleman and Baines in the team is doubling up, but they don't affect each other's scores.

Look up: great minds think alike on the Everton double. As I am not in any h2h's I don't care about week to week -- I think they will be the two highest scoring defs for the rest of the season, so I want to see if I can get them both in as well.

I think for next season, bonus point shall include subjective perspective from expert which is more qualitative based on the real contribution in the match, beside quantitative or statistic data. For example: for each Man of The Match (based on ) shall get extra 3-5 BPS. This rule to avoid the case of Eriksen/Bentaleb, Januzaj and Hazard in GW 21 will be happened again.

Might be considered blasphemy around these parts, but I'm really considering selling Coleman on my WC this week. The way I see it, there are many good options for much cheaper... Nastasic, Azpilicueta, even Evans if you believe in ManU. The goals simply can't continue, can they?
Downgrading Coleman would allow the following backline:
Koscielny, Nastasic, Azpilicueta, Chester, Ward
This should allow playing 4 at the back when the situation warrants. And afford a heavy-hitting midfield and frontline.

nasty, kosc and azpi all offer amazing value....coleman gets further foward more oftan than them all put together tho
True, I'll feel like an idiot if he keeps scoring. But offensive returns from defenders are quite random. Baines has penalties and free kicks, but others will revert to the mean before too long.
Take Zabaleta or Rafael. You could argue that they get forward about as much as Coleman... but that is no guarantee of offensive returns.
I would argue that BAPs from central defenders are much more predictable (and likely) than goals or assists from any defender.

Everybody saying Utd need to rebuild their whole squad but I disagree they have the squad but just need 3/4 world class players in the most important areas of the team, centre back, centre mid and a creative forward.
Lots of options in these positions for Utd though:
CB - Mangala/Garay/Subotic
CM - Gundogan/Bender/Koke/Vidal/Marchisio
Forward - Reus/Di Maria/Lavezzi
CM, LB, & Wingers is what the united squad needs...

But if he is locked on to Hudson now, instead, is it reasonable to just do a straight switch from Burner to Hudson, save a bit of money, and preserve the Cardiff/Palace rotation in your lineup?

The way I see wildcards.
You have spent ages crafting this team making changes to try to improve it a bit at a time. A wildcard should not be treated as starting with a blank slate, most of these players who have potential but have not performed as well previously will just do the same to you. Evolution not revolution is the way to go.

Disappointing start to the Gameweek and I am in serious threat of losing in the cup, do I have any chance of advancing?

Odds are with him I would say unless you have a lead already. But you have different players so you never know
The city result will do it one way or another I think. If city have a good game that will negate the Krul points. If City conced that will negate Zabs points. If it is 1-1 with Silva scoring the city goal I would say you are level. Any better than that and you will take the week any worse you will lose it
The best I can hope for is a high scoring game in the newc VS city (2 goals for each team atleast ideally) and for silva to be involved and yaya/remy not to be. Anyway there are still other players for both of us so we will see what happen.
