Distin to Chichres (-4) could have gained me 4 points.. People tend to forget about bonus points when defender keep a CS.

Thats nice. For me if you have 3-4 good weeks after wildcard then its a success.
My closest opponent wildcarded and his team now looks pritty, pritty, pritty similar to mine. Predictably he scored about the same as me (1pt more). Lame.
I picked up points from Lallana (shipped Cabaye (??)). I shall wait and see what Ozil brings - he was my main reason to WC.
I think last week was the best week for the Jan wc.
Lallana, Eriksen scoring and will rise more. Burner out. Everything went to the direction of WCers.

Do we think Luiz is going to continue in the MF role? He took a few free kicks and was close to scoring. I am tempted to get him in
Looks as if it worked well, so I see no reason why not. Much better than him abandoning his defensive duties and bombing forward only for Chelsea to then concede through the huge gap he left.
A bit cheesed off, to say the least that Hazard got no BPs.

Didn't make enough passes for one.
FPL wise did nothing apart from the winning goal. Lost BPS for losing the ball etc.
This is a blip in the system for me. 'Nothing apart from the winning goal'. This should be enough in my opinion, and also, maybe they might want to consider awarding BP's for the official man of the match.
Sky game is for you if want the Man of the match which half the time we all disagree with.
Just seems a bit silly to me when the majority of people have him down as the man of the match, AND he scores the winning goal, and gets zero bonus points.
Winning goal wasn't the only goal.
Torres scoring was worth 8 BPS to Hazards 7 BPS for winning goal.
It's not like Hazard did defensive work like Yaya. He got 1 BPS for passing & lost BPS for losing the ball,
I understand how the system works, i just disagree with it. The way i see it, some misplaced passes shouldn't be detrimental to your overall score if, on the whole, you were clearly the best player in the game. This is especially true if you also scored a goal in a game that finished 2 - 0. Just my opinion.
With the old system he scores 3 baps.
New system helps defenders who keep CS & can make 30 passes.
Cole deserved the 3 with the current system.
Hazard is a bit like Walcott in this system. Needs to score well to get baps as he doesn't earn many elsewhere.
Rooney gets baps due to working in midfield even if not scoring.
Had the score finished 1-0 with Torres scoring a late winner would you still say Hazard deserved any even if MOTM?
Yes. Because he was clearly the best performer on the pitch.
It seems that in their push to make the bonus system clearer, they devised a more detailed system, but in some ways, they've blinded themselves to the obvious, bigger picture: who was the best player and who deserved the points? So what is sometimes glaringly obvious, gets lost in the details. Can't see the woods for the trees kind of situation.

the biggest thing is the arsenal game...i have got 3 players....got lured into MNF! could end up really bad
Arsenal CS and all other teams to score should do that.
either way, it took me 10 gw's to close the lead to 27 points and he extended it to 70 in just 1 day by having double eve def + lallana + eriksen 🙁
Yet again (seems every year) end up WC disaster, my defence before I decided to have a change around was Coleman, Evans, Azpil and Shaw, and that would have been the first time I've had clean sheets across the board this season. God damn game.
Oh, and just for good measure, I took out Eriksen last minute for Gerrard.
Evans is injured and didn't play (I shipped him out on my wc too)

currently planning my wc, and it looks like a heavy front 8, and weak back line:

coleman, ward, chester (parr, hudson)
hazard, ozil, silva, ramsey (janujaz)
suarez, aguero, rooney
can i get away with such a cheap defense with a front 8 like that?
downgrade januzaz to 4.2 filler as he will never play and upgrade one of the cheap defender to someone half decent
Poor advice. Januzaj will play plenty, is great value, was brilliant in yesterday's game, a game after which Moyes said he'll become one of the best players in the world.
Also, at this stage in the game, i think having 'filler' is risky, what with injuries etc.
Wow, that's pretty wrong I reckon. 1st sub will always have a decent chance of playing. I'd rather have Janujaz than Chester.

So I've already wild carded and I have Boruc and Mannone as my keeper. Is Mannone a necessity now that Boruc is for sure healthy? I could downgrade to a 3.9 and save .5 which goes a long way when I need to upgrade burner to nastacic or azpilicueta and also get Aguero in next game week.

That was the third and last time I captain Lukaku. I'm scared not to own him though as he is capable of scoring big. Just no more captaincy for him

Could well do MoK, but in the last six weeks we've gone from no decent mids to a dozen or more. Something's got to give.

He was magnificent yesterday too.. would rather him come on for a 20 min sub appearance off my bench than anyone in his price range(striker/mid) doing a 90 minute one

Just got Lallana, if I was going Liverpool mid I'd probably opt for the cheaper Sterling. Gerrard I'm sure will get loads of points, I just have a nagging doubt he might get dropped back for Henderson to shine.
This is based on nothing but a gut feeling so you can safely ignore it, probably just the buttered scones.
