Here’s a new post-match article – a beautifully simple concept: the Scoreboard presents the Fantasy Premier League information you need from the day’s matches all on one screen, including the current top five BPS (Bonus Point System) standings from each match (provisional Bonus Point earners are in bold). Actual Bonus Points will be shown when added.

Please Note: The Scoreboard for Gameweek 21 will be published again after Sunday’s Matches.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

We haven't conceeded a goal in the league since Ivan went off injured against Pool.

Let's just say playing Ivan at RB means playing 2 of the back 4 OOP ( since Mou prefers Azpi at LB than Cole).
That's why we've been conceeding stupid goals.

Azpi - Terry- Cahill- Cole is our best back 4

would really love to hear some more opinions on this:

currently planning my wc, and it looks like a heavy front 8, and weak back line:

    boruc (davis)
    coleman, ward, chester (parr, hudson)
    hazard, ozil, silva, ramsey (janujaz)
    suarez, aguero, rooney

can i get away with such a cheap defense with a front 8 like that?

          Ozil > Cazorla 0.5mil
Janujaz > Parker/Jedinak 0.5/1.0mil depending on when you bought him
          Rooney > Welbeck 3.5/4mil roughly
Coleman > Nasty/Aspi/Sagna/Kosc 0.3/1.0mil again depending on when you bought him

You can definitely squeeze some extra juice out of that team

            - cazorla doesn't seem to be showing the form he had last year
            - would like to keep janujaz as he is great value, and i need a decent 5th mid
            - can't see welbeck playing much when rvp and rooney come back in
            - coleman is undroppable for me. had him since gw1, will keep until gw38 barring injuries. attacking threat/cs potential.

i bought most of them when they were cheap, so i wouldn't even profit a lot. since welbeck is totally out of the picture, even if i were to do the other transfers, i would only gain about 1.5ish. and all those moves you proposed are considerable downgrades which i don't think is good enough for only 1.5 more.

but thanks for your input, always good to hear other people's opinions

He was one of many such players which I really rated(esp from monitoring him in FIFA07 😉 ) but the really big clubs never took notice and then Athleti got him for a bargain under 10m I suppose.
Others like Pjanic(9m), Shaqiri(Bayern are a really big club but the price 10m), Xhaka.....

yesterday wasn't a success, no Tott nor Lallana here. But bulk of the team plays today and tomorrow! fingers crossed, else it would be a massive failure of yet another wildcard for me.

Though I think this wildcard sets me up better for the next few weeks with minimal changes and able to get Kun in with one FT!

in the next 8 games Soton play
    sun ARS hull LIV cpl
Arsnenal have the best defense in the league.. Hull are very tight at home. Sunderland are the most improved side defensively at home. Crystal palace at home are crazy tight. Pool is an ok game but not an easy one by far.
Do you see Soton scoring many goals in these games?
    The other 3 games are
ful STK whm.. can see loads of goals in these.. but are the fixtures as good as we assume they are?

I have set my team up so that I'll have the option of benching Lallana against Sunderland and Arsenal to play either my 5th mid (or even 4th defender) out of choice and still expect a decent return.

Besides, I'm probably underestimating how good Soton are going forwards when they have a fully fit front line. The only teams they've blanked against since GW4 are Arsenal and Chelsea. That's pretty good going!

When they get Wanyama back they'll also be able to break up opponents attacks far more effectively and launch counter attacks at pace giving them more chances to score.

If you watched Southampton last night, goals will be a worry. They defend well and press very well in the middle of the park, but their final ball in the final 3rd is atrocious, especially so last night. Was surprised they even scored a goal.

    Foster

    Coleman. Ward. Koscielny

    Hazard. Silva. Ozil. Eriksen

    Suarez (c). Negredo. J.Rod

    Subs- Davis. Cahill. Chester. Noone

Team looks good for next week. 2.4 in the bank for the standard Negredo > Kun transfer.

Might just play Cahill ahead of Ward if I'm feeling confident.

Any early thoughts for next week?

I decided to stop taking hits and played the WC this week. Being able to afford Erik in my planned WC team combined with my single arsenal and city going into this GW were my key decision factors.
Not convinced I made the right choice, it was very line ball, but it's done so enjoying playing with my team

Purely financial reasons, i'm not necessarily planning on keeping him, just want to make more money for when i do eventually WC. Basically, the questions is: is 4 points worth losing in order to make possibly .5/.6 with a wildcard on the horizon? Could be the difference between being able to afford someone you couldn't otherwise.

Like with Hazard when you use a statistical system the 'best' player on the pitch may go unrewarded with baps. Still prefer it over the man in the stand.

So, couple of decent games on the cards today, what are people hoping for? For me:

    - Yaya blank
    - Suarez brace and max baps (as only way to beat my FPL Cup oppo)
    - Sterling goal
    - Pool/City win (as it will mean i win my £350 accie)

    You?

For those opting for Januzaj as their 5th mid, surely it's better to play him most if not all games? If you pair him with a dirt cheap mid, you have the option of playing 3 big guns up top. United have some mint home fixtures coming up as well, in which you would expect him to start.

Would rather not rely on him by choice... if forced to play him cause of injuries i dont really mind though. The rule with him is dont expect too much as you may end up disappointed.

I just think if you use him as a 5th mid, you'll end up with a lot of Pts on your bench in many gameweeks

If you had 2 WCs and a bad start to the weekend that saw your main rival double your points, would you have WC'd last night in a bid to strengthen and catch price rises? I did.

If I hadn't the 2nd WC, I wouldn't have done it but think I have improved my squad. Had Szczesny & Krul, Distin & Coleman. Too much money invested in GKs and injured defender whose price was dropping.

I had a decent team but had 10m+ invested in GKs, an injured defender and a few players gone quiet the last few weeks.

        WC team is currently...

        Boruc / Adrian
        Kosc / Sagna / Coleman / Ward / Chester
        Yaya / Ozil / Hazard / Eriksen* / Lallana*
        Negredo / Welbeck* / Suarez

*one of these downgrades for Negredo to Aguero when fit.

    PetrCechyourself you still around?

    Gerrard
AVL EVE wba ARS ful SWA sot SUN

    Lallana
sun ARS ful STK hull whm LIV cpl

Pool got 5 home games in the next 8 😯 .and very good away games.. .
Soton got 5 away games(sun hull cpl wont be easy) in the next 8 😯 and 2 of their home games are ARS and LIV

If you had to choose between the two surely it has to be Gerrard from now right? kinda second guessing myself after lallana's haul yesterday but the fixtures look comforting

That's what i thought. Thing is Silva Hazard Ozil/Ramsey and Januzaj are nailed on in my team.. so only got one spot left. thinking Gerrard has to be the best option over Lallana/Eriksen if you have the spare cash

Hey Keith, yeah I'd definitely go for Gerrard (maybe Coutinho). Breaking down the actual fixtures rather than looking at the colour of ticker gives a better insight. There are goals in almost every one of Gerrard's games there.
