Since I have been playing this game I have never picked the right keeper when my goalies face each other. Again I'm facing this problem, this week it's Mannone vs Boruc. Earlier today there was a very smart post that went ignored. I forget who, a non-grav person.
The jist of the post was that we should be paying more attention to the points per game values rather than big hitters in midfield.
It's true that once you get past a few big midfielders you have the next tier getting less points per game than some big defenders and the defenders are cheaper.
Opens the door to using a 433 as your chosen path and makes total sense assuming the season continues to produce the way it has so far.
I tried a team adhering to this, what do you think. And look at the numbers on the FPL site, not just the names.

I don't mind going 4-3-3, not this season. Gets you about 5 big hitters upfront, with 3-4 big defenders at the back (depending on your team value)

I dont think cole is a big defender points wise as he lacks goal threat plus he doesant seem to ever score, terry would be a better bet there. I would also consider Kompany and Kolarov seen as they havent played as many games so far due to injury and rotation but are both playing well right now.

As for Cole, I think JT edges it for me, the numbers are good, he's been assisting Hazard's goals yes, but then again, what happens when Ivanovic is fit again? Azpi might get shifted to left again, though as a fan, I don't see that happening, but you just never know with Jose.

JT is more nailed on. Although I suspect Cole had his time on the naughty step and with the World Cup coming up he will be fine. If he can earn points from simple passes to Hazard then great. Do we see Hazard stopping any time soon?

I don't. He does the same thing over and over again and gets the goals. His close control is so good that whenever someone tries to tackle him, he draws a foul, makes it almost impossible to play against him, especially in the penalty area.

Well the team looks very decent. Though yeah, I think we've been underestimating City defense on here. 6 clean sheets at home this season already, and almost all the tough fixtures at home have been played. Liverpool, Spurs, Everton, United, Arsenal. Easier ones in the second half.

Keep an eye on wednesdays FA cup match and see if he features first/gets injured again. I think if you havent used your wildcard already then this is a week for a punt on a striker.
