The first of seven Saturday encounters kicks off at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland entertain Southampton this lunchtime.

Following the Wearside encounter, there are five games to focus on at 3pm, with Arsenal and City’s home clashes against Fulham and Cardiff heavily-backed by Fantasy managers. The evening match at Anfield then follows, as Captain Poll favourite Luis Suarez looks to run riot against Villa’s porous backline.

The Black Cats are looking for a fourth straight win on all competitions and, having already beaten City, Chelsea and United at home under Gus Poyet, they’ll fancy their chances of claiming another scalp against Adam Lallana and co.

        Yeah, think that's what's going on with Monreal playing over Gibbs too, although obviously it didn't look very likely with the nod and it's with the benefit of hindsight. Has been very solid, from the moment he joined last season he's looked in place.

        Just asking from non FPL point of view. I would never get him as a 5th mid - not nailed on, waste of an Arsenal slot when Ramsey back and may create benching headache.

          It's been a long running issue how Wenger is sceptical of Podolski. Podolski and Ox have come back from injury around the same time and yet Wenger was talking about how Ox could go straight into the team while Podolski needed some time. I think he likes players who contribute more all round like Gnabry, instead of just being shot machines. Ironically I think we could do with a shot machine.

      Think Rosicky was injured in the last game. Podolski plays on the left and Gnabry right, so i guess Wenger didn't want to move Cazorla to the right. There's Oxlade too, but Wenger perhaps thought he's not ready for a start yet. So it's probably a no. of reasons + Gnabry hasn't done much wrong since he's been in the side. There will be rotation going forward though so still wouldn't get him in.
