Whenever i think of Yaya, i seem to always look at his Ownership which is pretty big & rising. Dont like players with high ownership unless its Suarez or Aguero. Most prob will stick with my Silva.

i hv been doing pretty good without YAYA actually, Just jumped frm 200k to 100k. All Thnx to my differentials who i thought were doing pretty okish then suddenly exploded. So i will try to keep players with high ownerships to a minimum. As my core players r as it is hv high ownerships like Suarez, Aguero, Haz, Coleman, Kosc.

I got Yaya now on my jan WC. I watched the game yesterday and saw how great Silva played, producing chances and finishing on target constantly. How many times was Yaya up near cardiffs goal? Twice? Once , for the goal?
It doesn't feel right that Yaya gets all this points. I am happy with the points being a Yaya owner, but I am really not happy with the choice of Yaya over Silva . Silva is just a beast, always attacking.
If I wasn't so lazy i'd look up how many chances Yaya needs to produce a goal, its probably a high chances-to-goal ratio there..Open Controls

I'm all about points too, but I don't quite think you have that point yourself. What would you suggest, letting their prices go unreachable? Or playing wildcard? Playing wildcard earlier, means taking hit later. There are people who have been already taking -8 or -12 hits due to badly played wildcards. -4 now to avoid taking hit next GW is extremely acceptable.
January wildcard is a great occasion to think about points for the whole second half of the season - all transfers should be about your total points. I want Aguero AND AJohnson for the whole rest of the season as long as they keep on playing. I have to pay attention that the players I want in my wildcard won't get so pricey that I can't get them anymore. I don't want to content with the second best as I can now afford THE team that I want.
Now, if I'd only think next weeks points.... I still think my team is at least 4 points better with Aguero (tot) and Johnson (STO) than with Lukaku (wba). So I don't think I'm losing points GW23 by these moves.Open Controls-
Most people that are taking big hits this week are doing it to get Aguero in, so they are either played their WC too early or didn't have a watertight plan to get him in with a free transfer later. Playing your WC this week in order to get in Aguero and Johnson shouldn't present any problems that would cause you to take a hit next week 'or later'.

Quite simple. My team this week with these little changes (Luka + Öz to AJ + Kun) is, imo, better than the team I would want to get with my wildcard.
I do not want to use my wildcard so early that I would have to take immense hits to re-adjust it right away. I analyse the fixtures quite closely, and want the wildcard team to be basically a team with which, seen that players keep on playing, I would be content to keep for the rest of the season with perhaps just little changes here and there, like changing the 4th defender or 3rd forward for better fixtures each 6 rounds or so. There are a few players for whom I've been having great fixtures now that turn bad starting GW24-25, or the other way round.Open Controls

That's a great midfield. You going with 3-5-2 then? I will be rotating 2 cheapies with good fixtures and have 2 big hitters (Haz + Silva or YaYa) and one midpricer (probably Cabaye) with chance to upgrade a cheapie to Ramsey if he returns to form. Similar plans to defence: a couple of big ones and good rotation of cheapies.
Gonna go with 3 big forwards, been considering Rooney too if he returns fit. Benteke is my current "dark horse" idea though, between Suarez and Aguero. Now having Giroud and if So'ton CB's are injured, I'm gonna keep him for this GW at least.Open Controls

I have flashed my planned wildcard team a few times, asking whether to wildcard or not. Every time ended up not activating. Right now quite content with that, importantly because I've not been losing ground to ML opponents who have played their wildcards, even getting better points. Right now I'm afraid of price changes though.
