villa were really good today, and as a fan, i'm pleasantly surprised. but how bad did rodgers set his team out today! totally underestimated villa and got it horribly wrong. sturridge coming back meant he had to drop coutinho or sterling, it was a no brainer. liverpool were very exposed in midfield without lucas or even allen in there. fair enough he realised his error and corrected it, but too little too late.
