Our third Members article of the week takes a look at the main Captaincy contenders on option. With Liverpool welcoming Swansea to Anfield, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are big armband favourites for Sunday’s showdown, whilst City’s home clash with Stoke has Edin Dzeko on Fantasy radars. Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor are also in contention for the captaincy ahead of trips to Palace and Norwich, whilst we also offer up our weekly alternative “Captain Unsensible” option for those on the lookout for a punt:

Da team.
Looks good now but god-awful for GW29.Open Controls -
Ade will play you bunch of neurotic worryguts.
His only possible chance of being rested would have been if we had battered Dnipro with Soldado grabbing a couple. That certainly didn't happen so he'll play.Open Controls -

kolarov against stock

What to do with Eriksen? Spurs have games during the blanks but that doesn't mean he does! time to ship?

would people even put wayne rooney in the top 12 players playing at the moment ?
crazy money. downright certifiable.Open Controls-
I certainly wouldnt
Open Controls -
In the league or world?
Open Controls -
he is England's best player
Open Controls -
no. ibra, messi, ronaldo, suarez, aguero, ribery, hazard, iniesta, neymar, lewandowski, bale, rvp, xavi, falcao, costa, muller all better

300k a week when he is 33 will look hilarious

Its hectic planning for the next 3 GWs. I just feel if you have a big squad and can field 10 or 11 players every GW you are better off than shipping out players that you know you will get back 2 GWs later. You'll take many hits and most players you will get in are punts. All consistent players either have a blank on GW 28, 29 or both.
Open Controls -
Love the fact the ticker says that away to Chelsea is worse than a blank! 🙂
Open Controls -
So I will need to use my 5th mid (currently Pozuelo who is injured) in GW 28+29 and am wondering who to get with 1 of my two FTs?:
Adam
Puncheon
Ince
A Noriwch Mid (but who?)Open Controls-
Noone or Mutch. Save a bit of cash?
Probably Punch of those as he's the cheapestOpen Controls
-
In a dilemma this week, have lots of players I need to shift for GW29 but I do have 2FT...
Boruc
Koscielny / Sagna / Turner
Silva / Mata / Lallana / Cazorla
Adebayor / Suárez / Benteke
Bench: Davis/Demel/Jedinak/Ward
I'm thinking of Sagna -> Olsson, bench Olsson and play Demel.
Seems Madness with Arsenal playing Sunderland at home, but this move is part of a series of transfers I've planned that will enable me to get 11 out GW29 with no hits.
Dumb or Genius?Open Controls-
Where the bleep is Hazard?
Open Controls-
he's in my plans
Open Controls

Do it after Arsenal play Sunderland.....you can do 2 transfers next Gameweek
Open Controls-
don't want to lose a transfer, if I wait and make no transfer this week I will have to take a hit to field 11 for GW29 (I have nothing in the bank)

Any idea when the dates for the DGWs will be announced?
Open Controls -
Bench one of these:
A) Vlaar (Newcastle)
B) Coleman (Chelsea)
C) Miralles (Chelsea)

Has Tommy been fired? 😯
Open Controls -
Someone mentioned on the previous page that Ince was having a scan on his back, has anyone else heard this?
Open Controls-
i heard it on talk sport direct from pulis this morning, but only just back on here so not sure of update

I need to ditch my City players. All 3 transfers will be made by next GW but which one to make for this week?
A - Kolarov -> Azpil
B - Silva -> Gerrard/Oscar
C - Dzeko -> JrodOpen Controls-
You can do 3 transfers next GW. City vs Stoke is too good to ditch a City player

Thoughts on this bunch...
2 free transfers, £0.6m in bank.
Boruc
Burner, Kos, Coleman
Hazard, mata, Yaya, AJ.
RVP, Suarez, JRod.
Bench. Chester, Ward, Kim, K.Davis.
Any thoughts on transfers?Open Controls-
-
Surely my priorities this week would be to offload one of the non playing dudes in gw28 ?
e.g. AJ ?Open Controls-
True, sorry I dived straight in when I saw you didn't have a Chelsea defender, but you probably have higher priorities.
AJ out looks sensible.
Thoughts on Paulinho?Open Controls
-
-
-
AJ out, how much can you sell for?
Open Controls-
6.7m, so that gives me £7.3m to play with if I chose to spend it all.
Open Controls-
hmm, rules Lallana out. Nolan is the obvious choice, but the lack of a guaranteed game in 29 is off putting, maybe downgrade to say Zaha or Puncheon and then re-evaluate Nolan next week for Yaya?
Open Controls-
I've dug myself in a hole there as I have 3 sot with JRod 🙁
Snoddy?Open Controls-
Snoddy is an option, as is Adam. My opinion is that Nolan is the man to have if he has a GW29, hence why I'd get either Zaha or a Palace mid. If you think Palace will score this week I'd get one of them, play in GW29 and a DGW to come
Open Controls-

West Ham are supposed to play Hull in GW29. Hull have a cup replay with Brighton on Monday. If Brighton win that game goes ahead, if Hull win, they will play in the cup that weekend and so the West Ham v Hull game will be postponed. Hence why I'd wait on him as we'll know on Monday night whether they have a GW29 or not

AJ > Ince
Next GW: Burner> Azpi + Yaya > LallanaOpen Controls-

Plus, I think you'd want to keep Cardiff Turner for at least a GW29 body.
Open Controls
-
-
-
would getting rid of Kelvin-Davies and Mata and bringing in Lalana and Marshall be reasonable?
(already have JRod and Fonte hence losing Davies)
because then Lalana has games in both GW 28 and 29 whereas Mata only has 29 and I don't think we'll see anything magic from him anytime soon
thoughts?Open Controls -
Sturridge is world class.
Open Controls-
whooooa! calm down there, friend 😆
Open Controls -
he hasn't even played a European game mate lol
Open Controls

Arsenal have only given up 6 goals at home all season, and 3 of those were against Villa in the opening fixture. Dang son. I'd say that bodes well for Arse defenders on the weekend.
Open Controls -
Flanagan a safe option?
