Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor are also in contention for the captaincy ahead of trips to Palace and Norwich, whilst we also offer up our weekly alternative “Captain Unsensible” option for those on the lookout for a punt:

Its hectic planning for the next 3 GWs. I just feel if you have a big squad and can field 10 or 11 players every GW you are better off than shipping out players that you know you will get back 2 GWs later. You'll take many hits and most players you will get in are punts. All consistent players either have a blank on GW 28, 29 or both.

If Brighton win that game goes ahead, if Hull win, they will play in the cup that weekend and so the West Ham v Hull game will be postponed. Hence why I'd wait on him as we'll know on Monday night whether they have a GW29 or not
