I really like it. Feels like you have more control.

I've subbed out 5, so have dawson, gerrard, eriksen, ade and suarez (c) today, with 47 pts.

Bringing in 7 from my bench. Huddlestone, Azpi, Zaba did well for me. Swapping Hazard (C) to Sturridge (C) as I'm captaining Suarez in FPL so if Sturridge explodes I'll atleast do well in one game 😉

I had Oxlade as Captain so easy choice to swap to Suarez, I managed to change 5 players and still retain 64 points, so looking very optimistic today.
Top performers -> Giroud, Nolan, Koscielny , Yaya, Ivanovic, so quite satisfied.

How do you land at 8 players? I'd rather have 4 or 6 points less in gw29 & be well set up for the dgw run-ins... Than have 8 or 9 low quality guys playing in gw29. Gw29 is a red herring. Assume any points you get are a bonus & move on i say!

Don't agree. Gw 29 is a good opportunity for those chasing. There are no guarantees for the dgw's but there is a guarantee you will score zilch for a player who is out

In that scenario he you're stuck with players who *may* do well in gw29 though, whilst from gw30 onwards it's a totally different set of teams who have fixtures on their side & motivation to play well on the run in.
Have the obligatory chelsea defender/hazard/ade & maybe nolan... But i wouldn't be rushing to configure my team to ensure a notional 8 or 9 players take to the field.Open Controls -
But loading up on the likes of WBA, Fulham, Cardiff, Stoke etc by removing better performing players with a blank is very likely to cost you points over the long-term. Chelsea, Soton, Utd assets are a different matter obviously as they are much more reliable/have a future DGW.

Couldn't care less about gw29. The most you will lose or make up in points terms will be 5-10 given then lineup of teams playing. Chill out & think ahead to gw30 onwards. That's where you could get royally destroyed by not having the right city/everton etc coverage for the run in.
