Despite getting my last 3 captain choices wrong, this is probably been the week I am most unsure on who to captain. Who are you tipping for the armband this week?

Just did kolarov to Baines and I don't care about the blanks.

I'll take WHU blank CAR SWA ful over any no blanks schedule.

Why Baines and not Goalman? From what I've seen Coleman looks like he'll bag at least a couple of goals or assists

A lot would depend on the fitness of Aguero, and also if this would involve a hit. There could be FPL-team scenarios where such a move could be decent.

It would be on a FT - I have FT's for 2 city players in GW30

If Rooney doesn't up his game the enxt few GW's I can see the upside to it.

I know it's a big but am starting to think eto is a 2 week punt worth taking simply because I have adebayor, I can't get lambert because I have 3 saints, and the rest of the options suck badly. It seems to be him or a forward that wont play in 29 and ill probably get rid for 30/1

    Decent transfers?

    Next week:

    Flanagan>Dann
    Gnabry>Noone

Doing these to free up funds, have cover for GW29 and to get rid of Flanagan and Gnabry for the long term.

    The Week After:

    Adebayor>Aguero

Just like seemingly everyone else I'm looking for a 2-week-only midfield replacement for Silva
Options: Snodgrass, Adam, StevenDavis, Willian, Holtby, Paulinho.

What is it that makes Snodgrass such an overwhelming favourite over say Willian?
I went trawling through this thread looking for a debate. In 14 pages Snodgrass's name appears 161 times, compared to Willian's 6. I don't get why*.

    Snodgrass; Villa (A) + Stoke (H)
    Willian: Fulham (A) + Tottenham (H)

Fixtures + set pieces, yes. But then again Chelsea/Norwich just about balances that out, no?
Have I missed Willian stinking it up and Snodgrass on fire, or is this a bandwagon with limited justification?

*In truth, I don't get alot of things about this game

Look at Norwich's fixtures up until GW35, they're beautiful. You wouldn't have to waste a transfer to get rid of him again after the DGW, and depending on how your finances are spread, he's pretty much cheap enough to have as a 5th mid.

Actually i m not very into snodgrass but it allows me to do adebayor->Kun on gw30 without a hit. And with snod fixture he is a decent punt and i am in knowledge tt this punt will have little damage becos likely tt there will not have much playerd exploding in gw29 too. Even if willian explodes v few ppl have him

I'd argue that his short-term view is what has made him one of my rivals. While all my transfers in the last few weeks have been with GW29 in mind, he's made transfers according to the fixtures in front of him.

By the time blanks/DGWs are out of the way, he won't be a "rival" anymore.

I've got a transfer burning a hole in my pocket and getting a keeper for GW29 seems the logical move though. If West Ham have a DGW in a different week than one of Sunderland's, I'd keep both. I can't see that happening seeing as Sunderland need to squeeze in 3 of them.

I think in the long run you will prefer the 2 extra transfers it will cost to get a keeper in for GW29 only to get Mannone/Adrian right back in.

I have the exact same dilemma, do I go with 10 in GW29 and save the transfer for double gameweeks or do I go with XI and use up 2 FTs.

Mannone will have DGWs incoming and they rotate pretty well GW30-32 anyway, plus there's no point taking a hit on a GK in GW29 when none of the fixtures look like an obvious clean sheet for either team. I guess one possibility is to get Ruddy in for Adrian that week if you don't use your 2FTs elsewhere.

Once the move is made I'll not be reversing it. Ruddy looks to be the only option worth considering, I think the £ tied up will hurt me when I'm short of funds longer term.

I'm thinking Sterling to Ince. Sterling not great away from home and has 2 away games plus a blank in the next 3. Play 10 in GW29.

I have this same dilemma BB. If you keep both, then you will play one of them in GW31 (Adrian confirmed HUL, MUN & Mannone *maybe with WBA, nor?) while going without a keeper in GW29. However, if you transfer Adrian to Ruddy this week you get a better fixture straight up than what Adrian has (Mannone has a blank), then you get STO, SUN in GW29 & GW31 (and CPL from Mannone in GW30). Or you could play Mannone for his double if they do get one in GW31. After that, Ruddy & Mannone rotate better than Adrian & Mannone. I think you'd get more points this way than taking the blank in GW29 - but at the cost of a FT and about 0.7? Is that worth it?

Great write up, thanks for going into so much detail.

You're right about the fixtures, but I don't trust Norwich. Every time a pants team goes on a good run of clean sheets, it ends just when people transfer them in.

I'm going for Sterling to Ince and will play 10 in GW29.

    Cech

    Ward - Evans - 1 FT - Olsson

    Snodgrass - Hazard - Mata - Lallana - Puncheon

For no hits. Will monitor Evans' injury situation and if I'm not convinced he'll start may take a -4.

Suggestions? Can't go Jrod or Lambert as already have Lallana and Boruc/Davis, already getting Ade.

Planning for Suarez, Rooney and Aguero gw31, can't afford Suarez, RVP, Aguero.

I got rid of Rooney last week and not sure I want him back. In tighter games he'll drop deeper. He puts in a great shift every game he plays so is ideal for UFPL Metro, but he needs to score more to justify that price tag. I get the sense with RVP that he'll score most games so that'll be at least 6 pts. Not sure about Rooney.

Just hoping he'll match RVP's points for gw29-31, he'a gone after that. If I get RVP doubt I can afford to keep him with other expensive dgw options in gw31.

He looks primed to go on one of his runs but I'd still probably go RVP if I could. Like you say, it depends who you'd spend the money on though I guess...

Just need him to match RVP for gw29-31. RVP's so expensive he'll definitely impact other plans for gw31.

I have 6 players currently for GW29, already on a hit. How many, if any should I get in for GW29? Another -4 perhaps? Set up is currently:

    Marshall
    Ward Chester Baines Koscielny*
    Gerrard Hazard Ince
    Suarez Sturridge Adebayor(c)

    Mannone Collins Pozuelo Mata

I'm half debating just saving as so many of my missing players will have double gameweeks later on? Thoughts?

Guys, my team for this week as it stands:

    Adrien
    Vlaar - Shaw - Yoshida - Koscielny
    Gerrard - Sterling - Noone - Cazorla
    Adebayor - Suarez

Just Burner on the bench, (Mannone, Mata and RVP with no game).

I have 2FT, only want to use 1, and with GW 29 in mind, so which do you think:

    A) Gerrard ---> Lallana
    B) Sterling ---> Snodgrass
    C) Other
