We roll out our player picks for PlayON, the weekly Fantasy Football game, as always this Friday lunchtime. We’re on the lookout for potential bargains in our assessment of this week’s PlayON Price List as we look to navigate the fixture schedule, with just eight Premier League matches set to take place this weekend:

This week PlayON have two special offers: 1) A Facebook competition where you can £25 FREE CREDIT – enter here and 2) a FREE ENTRY, £250 POT game – enter on the multiplayer page on the site .

If you’re new to PlayON, it is weekly Fantasy Football so you can dip in and out of playing throughout the season. Once your starting XI is built you can compete for cash.

Similarly, you can challenge other players to one-on-one games, selecting the amount at stake. The likes of Robbie Fowler, Les Ferdinand and OptaJoe are all playing the game and are there to be challenged for free or for £1. The Fantasy Football Scout team is also available to be challenged and has a 52% win rate up to this point. You can also create an open challenge against anyone else on the site – just click the amount you want to play for and the number of slots (number of people who can accept your challenge) on the one-on-one page .

For a more in-depth introduction to PlayON, take a look at this season’s introduction article.

Goalkeeper – Michel Vorm
In a season blighted by injury, the Swansea keeper has still managed to impress in front of his own fans. Vorm has registered a clean sheet in each of his last four home appearances and could well be set to extend that record this weekend – visitors Crystal Palace have failed to score in their last three road trips. Priced at just 7.2m, the Swans number one looks great value this weekend. Hull’s Allan McGregor also remains in the budget bracket. Back after a three-game suspension last week, the Scot chalked up a clean sheet away to Cardiff – at 7.7m, he entertains a Newcastle side that have scored in two of their last nine league matches. Villa’s Brad Guzan is available for 8.3m ahead of a home clash with Norwich. Given that the Canaries have scored three times in the last seven, a shut-out for Paul Lambert’s side looks promising.

Defender – Seamus Coleman
Everton’s free-scoring right-back comes in at just 8.4m ahead of tomorrow’s home encounter with West Ham. Coleman has racked up the Fantasy points at Goodison Park – he’s found the net in three of his last five appearances on Merseyside and his raids down the flank are sure to pose Big Sam’s side plenty of problems. Liverpool’s fit-again Glen Johnson is a bargain-basement 7.4m for the trip to Southampton, whilst Newcastle’s Paul Dummett is priced at 8.2m for the visit to Hull. Handed corner kicks in the Magpies’ previous match, he’s expected to retain the left-back berth, with Davide Santon remaining on the sidelines due to a knee problem.

Midfielder – Pablo Hernandez
Available for 8.3m, the Swansea playmaker has proven his fitness after another spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury. Hernandez has returned in impressive form, too, with a trio of assists in as many matches, and may benefit from a central role once again as the Swans look to continue the attacking form which has produced seven goals in three matches under Garry Monk. Having shrugged off the thigh injury that kept him out of last week’s 4-1 win over Sunderland, Mesut Ozil is priced at 8.8m for Arsenal’s trip to Stoke, with the Gunners looking to build on that Black Cats hammering. Further down the price brackets, you can pick up Norwich’s Nathan Redmond for 8.3m – while Robert Snodgrass has garnered most of the attention ahead of the trip to Aston Villa, his fellow wide man could prove decisive for the Canaries.

Forward – Romelu Lukaku
Finally recovered from an ankle injury, the Everton frontman is priced at a mere 9.4m for the visit of West Ham. Lukaku has already posed his opponents problems this season – he notched the winner on his debut back in September and his physical presence up top is set to hand the Hammers’ in-form defence a stern test on Saturday. If you reckon Sam Allardyce’s side will breach the Toffees backline, Andy Carroll, at 9.8m, could be worth considering as a cheap forward. Back after a three-game suspension, he’s likely to take his place up top as the visitors attempt to chalk up a fifth successive win. Palace’s Glenn Murray was handed his first start of the season last weekend after recovering from a long-term knee injury – at 9.3m, he’ll be hoping to open his account at Swansea.

I'd lose Silva before Mata anyway.. The only thing in Silva's favour is that he's in a better team that have more matches, but he just hasn't been playing at the same level of greatness this year.

I was considering Suarez/Sturridge to Mitroglou but don't think I can do it if he's not going to play this weekend.

Not liking the prospects of GW29 at all, so it'll be FT only for me I think, no hits. Either a boring defensive transfer like McShane to Bassong, Sterling to Dejagah/Holtby or Suarez/Sturridge to anyone.

Maybe I'm wrong but I'm becoming convinced that Adebayor's success is dependent on Eriksen (almost like Nolan and Carroll). Barring the game v a woeful Newcastle, I can't recall Adebayor delivering in a game Eriksen was not involved in, and I'm trying to find out what % of his goals were assisted by Eriksen (or involved Eriksen assisting the assister)

The potential of Sturridge/Suarez is lower this week, I don't see him getting 2 or 3 goals down in Southampton. There's no City match, and Hazard is playing away.
I don't have Ade so he's not an option for me but my point is that if I pick a differential (like Lallana) and he fails, the gains I lose out on won't be that massive as I doubt the main suspects will do THAT much this week, whereas if the differential pays off, I'll be one of a few to have a big captain score this week.

So you would pick Lallana over Suarez/Sturridge.

Lallana has got even less potential chance than they do of scoring big!

Lallana has the highest PPG at home out of everyone playing at home this weekend and he's against Liverpool who have conceded 5 goals in their last two games against sides worse than Southampton..?

All true, and I take your points, but even then, who has got the best chance of scoring a brace:

              Lallana or Sturridge/Suarez?

I honestly think it could be high scoring with Liverpool sharing their scores around the team (SaS, Gerrard, Sterling, Henderson, Coutinho) and Southampton only have Lallana, Lambert and JRod.

Plus southampton are at home and will be looking to bounce back from last week's loss at west ham (where they scored away against a very very strong defence).

And if Lallana does well and I captain him, I'll be one of a few, and it will help my Overall Rank better.

But yes, I admit it, I'm sh!tt!ng myself and have had the (C) on Sturridge most of the week until today.

    Adrian
    Kosc - Shaw - Vlaar - Yoshi
    Gerrard - Sterling - Cazorla - Noone
    Suarez - Ade

    Mannone - Burner - RVP - Mata

Got 2FTs but probably just going to use one and I'm thinking Yoshi/Burner ---> MOlsson.

Does anyone actually think, that any of the GW 29 matches will be high scoring?

With West Brom's tendency to draw and United's to not show up, it could well end up 1:1
Unless Mitroglu plays I cannot see Fulham scoring more than one, Cardiff seems even more woeful.

Norwich - Stoke looks like a 0:0 or 1:1 kind of match.

Crystal vs. Southampton will probably be a resistent defense - dangerous attack kind of scenarion somewhere between 0:0 to 0:2...

Chelsea, if they score will do the usual , lets defend 1:0 til the end.

    What to you think?

On the other hand if it is low scoring, any player who scores more than 3 points can be very valuable, but still won't bring you as many points as good players the week before or after I guess.

Problem is the attacks haven't been inspired either.

Actually with Hangeland back an playing , I can see Fulham having an edge in that department.

Also usually when you have two teams with bad defenses they end up having clean sheets just to spite everyone.

I agree, I think their problem was more motivation.
At least some of those players can surely perform better. I also think they needed Hangeland back, since he is there again they haven't conceded as much.

I think Cardiff are on the way to get relegated a lot of bad (almost stupid) decisions and they seem to get worse in defense from match to match

To be fair, the young boy 'Burn' was playing well so i wouldn't have brought Hangeland back. I fear that Hangeland is well past his prime now. He has never really recovered following his sending off against Sunderland in 2012!

Yeah he used to be massive in the past and isn't even close to it, but I still have a feeling that his return has seen them stop conceding loads of goals, but maybe its only a coincidence, to be honest, I haven't investigated it thoroughly.

As someone who unfortunately watches most their matches live i would say it is more related to how bad Senderos, Hughes and Amorebieta were!

I do agree from what I've seen Senderos was exceptionally bad, also I guess much more was expected from Amorebieta.

I am thinking of captaining Adebayor but the only thing that worries me is Tottenhams performance after the Europa matches, in 9 games they have only scored two goals or more once, in three matches they have scored 1 and five matches scored 0. I do wonder if that was because AVB was manager and they didnt score that many anyway but the one time under Tim Sherwood they lost to Norwich without scoring.

Might just go with Suarez.....seems many are thinking otherwise so it might be a good chance to finally see a bit of 'differential' return from him.

That was Norwich at home though, not to be underestimated.

At least you can replace them!

I know we've been poor recently but nor, SUN, che, TOT wasn't an easy run of fixtures and we're a different team with Colo, Tiote and Remy back in the side. With Cabaye gone, those are probably our 3 most important players.

I already had 3, McGregor was the only keeper I could afford. Like you say at least I can replace them
