Jack Wilshere is ruled out for several weeks, though Aaron Ramsey is due back next weekend for Arsenal. Robert Snodgrass and Ricky van Wolfswinkel return to training for Norwich. Scott Parker is ruled out for Fulham, who also have concerns over Kostas Mitroglou and William Kvist following international duty. Marouane Chamakh emerges as a strong doubt for Palace, Phil Jagielka is unlikely to make Everton’s cup clash with Arsenal, whilst Laurent Koscielny is a doubt with a hamstring problem:

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere sustained a hairline fracture to a bone in his foot whilst on international duty for England in midweek. Following scans and further investigation by the FA and the Gunners, Arsene Wenger confirmed earlier this morning that Wilshere will be out of action for around six weeks. Wenger had some good news on the injury front today, though, after revealing both Aaron Ramsey and Kim Kallstrom are expected to be available for next weekend’s north London derby trip to Tottenham. Elsewhere, the Arsenal manager also admitted that defender Laurent Koscielny picked up a hamstring problem whilst with France and is “a little doubt” to face Everton in the FA Cup this weekend.

Roberto Martinez has given an update on Phil Jagielka’s hamstring injury ahead of Everton’s cup tie with Arsenal, suggesting that the defender is “very unlikely” to feature at the Emirates this weekend.

Norwich’s injury worries have eased ahead of the weekend visit of Stoke, with Robert Snodgrass and Ricky van Wolfswinkel both returning to training following wrist and knee injuries respectively. Chris Hughton remains hopeful that the pair will come through training without any issues prior to selecting his squad. Meanwhile, the Canaries boss is confident both Joseph Yobo and Martin Olsson are fit to face Mark Hughes’s men after withdrawing from international duty in the week. Leroy Fer, Jonas Gutierrez and Michael Turner remain sidelined.

Tony Pulis has revealed that Marouane Chamakh is a doubt for the weekend. The forward suffered a hamstring injury at Swansea last week and the Eagles boss isn’t holding out much hope of the Moroccan being available, suggesting that Chamakh is “struggling.” Pulis also admitted that there are “one or two other niggles” around the camp and a late decision will be made on their availability.

Reports suggest that Fulham’s January signings William Kvist and Kostas Mitroglou both picked up hamstring injuries whilst away on international duty this week, with boss Felix Magath expected to check on the duo’s fitness ahead of the six-pointer with Cardiff. Magath will decide on Mitroglou’s inclusion against Cardiff after conversing with the club’s doctors. Scott Parker is out of tomorrow’s showdown after sustaining a knee injury in training, Fernando Amorebieta is also unavailable with a muscle problem, whilst Damien Duff may not feature again this term due to a knee injury.

All this and more has now been updated in the Team News section ahead of tomorrow’s deadline. Keep an eye on our official Twitter Stream as breaking news unfolds.

60 points behind ML leader and 50 in front of 3rd place, both have Yaya.

Do i go cap in hand and get him in next week or do i go with a differential that is Silva......thoughts?

Silva has done nothing to justify inclusion over Yaya. Differentials only really work when used alongside the players getting all the points, not instead of them.

Yeah, me too - suppose i'm thinking he must get some points before the end of the season. Think it hasn't helped with Aguero picking up these injuries - Silva seems a lot more dangerous when Aguero is on the field.

not sure i fully agree. with the exception of this limited gameweek i don't see the point having a stronger 5th midfielder if you have 3 good forwards since he will never play. probably makes more sense to get the cheapest 5th midfielder you can (this might be the difference between being able to afford aguero or not).

interested to know, who will you drop from midfield/attack in GW31 in order to play Livermore?

Vlaar or M Olsson? It is between only these two.

Vlaar (CHE, STO, mun, FUL, cpl, SOT, swa, HUL, tot)
M Olsson (sot, SUN, swa, WBA, ful, LIV, mun, che, ARS)

If I went for Olsson I would take him out for the last four games of the season.

    Chesney > Speroni this week?

Speroni has a double later in the season and i'd rather play Adrian than Chesney for GW31 anyway. I don't fancy Mannone as his games in Weeks 34 and 37 are stinkers anyway.

    Team for the week:

    Reither / Vertonghen / Burn
    Oscar / Schurrle / Eriksen / Hazard (c)
    Thievy / Adebayor / Anichebe

Only missing a keeper, but Eriksen dodgy
Expecting big things from Anichebe - good to go?

    Vidic or Distin?

Whoever i get in will cover GW31.

Distin has the better fixtures but Vidic has the extra game (this week against WBrom)

I'd be tempted to save FT, go with one less with GW and get Distin next GW.

    Olsson - Ward - Azpil - Pieters
    Paulinho - Hazard - Januzaj - Lallana
    Anichebe - J . Rod

Just missing my goalie this week. Gonna bring in an Everton defender next week. Probs Distin so I can spend more money in attack.

    a) Sterling, Livermore, Distin, Zaba
    b) Nolan, Noone, M Olsson, Zaba
    c) Sterling, Delph, Baines, M Olsson

Delph/Noone/Livermore would be my 5th mid and would be benched gw31

    Team for GW29:

    (Adrian Mannone )
Chambers Olsson Ivanovic Azpi ( Coleman )
Noone Lallana Eriksen Hazard (c) ( Yaya)
    Adebayor ( Suarez Sturridge )

    2FT, £3.7 ITB

Looking to replace Eriksen or possible Noone with DGW'er to make use of FT - don't care if i loose expected 2 pts on that this week.

Good to go? Which possible replacement do you recommend?

the way i see if i only have 7 starting players, then the cost of extra transfer is really on -2pts, as if he does nothing and gets 2pts compared to 0 pts.

so looking at next week and dgw maybe be worth a couple of hits, anyone agree?

A player is never guaranteed 2 points. Still the math may make a transfer more sensible.

    a) AJ & Livermore
    b) Nolan & 4.3 (Delph?)

I think Nolan will outscore AJ gw31 and am not convinced of AJ's pitch time due to being subbed early the last two matches
